Old Cutler Animal Clinic is owned and operated by Dr. William Harris, one of the original founders. We are proud of our full-service veterinary care facility that has been providing high quality veterinary care in South Dade and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. We offer complete medical, surgical and diagnostic care, as well as boarding and grooming.Feel free to call us and speak to a member of our well-trained staff with questions about our facility or about your pet.

For the love of your pet, DO NOT take…
For the love of your pet, DO NOT take them to Old Cutler Animal Clinic. I started bringing my dog there when we moved here two years ago because it is near our house and she gets anxiety in the car. I always felt that Dr. Harris and his employees were very cold, but my dog has never had health problems so we are usually just in and out. Last week I noticed that my dog had an issue with scabs on her skin, so I brought her in immediately. Dr. Harris barely looked at her, told me she had fleas, gave her a shot and told me to call back if she didn’t stop itching. The next day she was still itching, so I called back. Dr. Harris had his receptionist call me back and tell me that the meds would take a few days to work. I had a few more questions and this idiot receptionist was answering me as if she was qualified to do so, which she clearly was not! Meanwhile I could tell that my poor dog was in pain. The next day I called another vet and brought her in. Our new vet examined her and told me that she had a severe allergy and infection and that it was a miracle that she was able to walk because her paws were so raw. By that afternoon she was back to her old happy self. I feel terrible that I didn’t follow my instincts and leave Old Cutler after our first visit. To top it all off, they are expensive!

I have been going to Old Cutler Animial Clinic for over 14 years. Dr. Harris, Dr. Steel and Hidie, along with their qualified staff are extremely professional, experienced and most of all they take the time to understand your animals needs. They are very accomodating and they insure confidence to you and your animal to be able to trust in their experience whether a simple grooming or an emegency need. I would recommend them to everyone I know. I have been to other clinics and the team at Old Cutler Animal Clinic is the finest in vetenarian care. They are a top notch team. i want to share how caring Dr Harris and…
i want to share how caring Dr Harris and his staff are. i have two dogs that need constant attention and i have been so lucky to have Dr Harris, and Dr Steele care for them for many years. I really appreciate that the doctors and staff make sure to call when they have test done to give us the results, and to check on them after their appointments if they were having a problem. The staff is always available to help get me an appointment as soon as possible. i appreciate that the office is always clean and has the necessary supplies i need for the dogs.

Do not know how they keep business. Tiffany Hammel who answers the phone has been beyond rude and disrespectful and hung up mid-conversation when I was explaining I did not want to go to the clinic anymore. Dr. William Harris has been there forever and is the grumpiest old man I have ever meet and did not seem to care, he did the bare minimum and pushed aside a concern I had. Management never calls back when you try to respectfully voice areas of possible improvement. Overpriced, unfriendly, they hassle you because they cannot seem to keep business and completely not worth it. My animal is far better in the hands of doctors who are happy to be in the veterinarian business.
