As a previous member of this post, I have to say this STILL is the worst post I've ever been in. They run it like neighborhood barroom. It is everything John lucky said, and more. I will not be back.

I am the new Post Commander for 187. I direct this message to johnlucky and anyone else who has had this type of experience when visiting our post. First let me say we apologize for your experience you had when visiting our post, BUT those days are over. Prior to May 2013 this historical post was ran into the ground by the previous leadership. It was so bad when I joined in Feb. 2013 we were ready to hang the closed sign on the door. Membership was at its lowest in 66 years and we were in a critical financial state. A few of us decided we were not going down without a fight and with the determination and a generous suppport from a few members we started the long climb out of darkness. We now have a self supporting post and membership is up 100%. Our Aux and SAl are strong and support our post in every way. If you visit our post now you will be pleasantly surprise in the changes made in the overall appearance, customer service and quality of customers and members. I welcome you to revisit our post and make your own decisions. We harbor no ill feelings or anomosity towards Johnlucky and thank him for his honest feed back. This is the worst Legion in Maryland.....Dirty, Roaches, and if you don't belong to the click of animals your not welcome. This Place has no right to belong to the American Legion. These people have NO clue what being a menber is.

Ladies that work there try their best. But you can't make the idiots that run the place clean it up. Drunk woman sleeping at the end of the bar seems to think she owns the place. Langauge coming out of her mouth was enough for me! Never Again. There are alot of very nice clean Legions in Maryland to enjoy. This is sure not one of them! No wonder the place is going down.
