Do not move here unless you have kids & enjoy listening to children screaming bloody murder directly in front of your unit every day. This community looks nice on the outside but on the inside, the apartments (ours is ground level) is filled with silverfish bugs, spiders.. there is a chronic mold problem in the bathroom & all under-counter cabinets in the kitchen smell like mold all the time. Forget about hanging pictures/art on your wall too.. unless you want to pay to have the whole apartment painted before you leave.. they expect the tenant to do that!! The linen closet is not deep /large enough to really even be called a linen closet. There is no kitchen pantry, stackable noisy washer/dryer practically in your living room, the ceramic tile they boast is freezing all the time (because that's what it is, a slab of rock). The stoves are electric, if you like that (we don't). There is NO central air or heat. A lousy old a/c in living room. That's it. Expensive baseboard electric heat throughout. The walls are paper thin. We can hear the guy upstairs snoring, & the people who live here.. hhmmm... What to say.. Well, there are A LOT of ill mannered, disrespectful kids who run around like wild animals making endless noise & destroying the property (i.e.-trying to rip apart BBQ grill, chalking up the picnic table, throwing soccer balls at your window, harassing local wildlife, etc.. ) I'm sorry, I like kids, but this community seems to almost attract a ghetto element, which is nuts considering how ridiculously overpriced these apartments are. The parents of these kids are never around. Also, the gym is terrible. No a/c. Very small, only 1 elliptical,1 treadmill, and a few other weight trainer pieces. And it closes at 9pm. The same few people hog the limited equipment & disregard the '20 minute' rule on a regular basis. The pool is no better. Not much fun unless you like dozens of unsupervised, screaming kids. Although there is a management office, they only pick up the phone if you call repeatedly. And it's not because they're busy. They seem to do nothing. They don't even inform tenants when they have a package at office. The management also does a 'mandatory' apartment inspection once a year.. We thought this was really bizarre. It's almost like they are saying, 'we want to make sure you haven't trashed the place, so we're coming in whether you like it or not'. Just strange. Also, no walk in closets. And because the trees are so close to the units, ZERO sunlight in many of the lower units. Trees /landscaping is pretty , but we'd take sunlight over a canopy of trees & the subsequent bird poop attacking our parked cars like it's WW3. Overall, this place is SO OVERRATED is absurd. We moved here from another part of the country so we didn't know.. But this place is a total rip off. If you want to put ur loud, obnoxious child in the Cupertino school system, that may be a reason to live here. Otherwise, total waste of money. Oh yeah, and at night, you can clearly here all your neighbors kids crying, screaming & the adults fighting. For $2500-2800/month for a 2 bed, just too ghetto.
