This place is the best... The freshest nicest local sushi restaurant I've been to. They fly fish in from all over, Hawaii, Japan, East Coast. If you want authenticate japanese sushi, this is the place. The people are excellent and service is also excellent. Ask for the specials menu.

Bad food, and bad service. I waited forever to get served. Fish were old and dry. Crab meat used for Cal rolls was stinky. Miso soup was so salty that I was not able to taste anything. Rice were not cooked well and hard. They also use ""long grain"" cheap rice for sushi. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Good Sushi Restaurant... Only choice fish and ingredients are used. Owner is a 'true' sushi chef trained in Japan. You can see his certificate/license on the wall to prepare fugu.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant (I've tried many since arriving in the bay area). The food is always good and the fish is always fresh. This restaurant is simply the best.

I went expecting a great sushi dining experience. What I found instead was run of the mill sushi. It was nothing spectacular and nothing that I couldn't have gotten at any other sushi place. The service was slow (but considering it was a Friday nite, it was understandable). However the wait staff was courteous. But I wouldn't come back for the sushi or the atmosphere.
