        purchased a v70 from Culver City Volvo with a 30 day warranty....5 days after the warranty expired, the transmission bles. They gave me a "deal" by replacing the trans with a rebuilt for $3,500....was having trouble getting the car registered. When I phoned CCVolvo, the receptionist said, "Oh yes! we are aware of the problem with the DMV - we were supposed to do a smog check last year, you need to bring it in, hasn't anyone here phoned you?" (they hadn't) When I brought the car in, the one guy in the service dept through up his hands (literally) in annoyance - I had interupted his lunch....never mind me taking an hour out of my day to take care of something that should not have been my problem...a couple months later, with the car "knocking", I brought it in to a AAA approved service center...needed another $2,500 in repairs. As I type this, it's in the shop again for another $600. So far, I am out over $7000 in repair costs (most of which were incureed within the first two months. Awful car, awful service, rip-off....

        Horrible Service Service Department!!!

        HORRIBLE service department!!! ! Do not waste your time.

        They are rude, unorganized and uncommunicative. They cannot manage their workload and do not bother to let customers know. I lost a day and half of work, and had reschedule two work events due to their lack of communication and inability to manage.



        Go to Santa Monica Volvo if you need service on the Westside.



        I wish I could give NO stars.
