I was consistently given the wrong brand of medication. It was the same type of drug as my prescription, but I asked for a specific kind. Even though it was supposedly entered into my records, I had to ask and double check every time. "Detail oriented" is certainly NOT a phrase I would use to describe the Walmart pharmacy.
We immediately found a new pharmacy when the Walmart pharmacy gave my meds to someone else.
I called ahead, and the automated system confirmed my allergy meds would be ready on Tuesday. But on Tuesday, I was told they weren't actually available until Sunday. Annoying, but not the worse thing in the world! So we went back on Sunday... and the cashier said the meds still weren't ready, but we could talk to a pharmacist.
The quote/excuse from your pharmacist: "Your meds aren't very common, so it's hard to keep them in stock. We gave them away because someone else needed them."
I want a pharmacist who takes my health seriously and doesn't give my meds away.
