        Good drinks & appetizers.

        We have been here many times over several years. The drinks and appetizers are usually very good. And I think they are in hopes your sloshed by the time the entree gets there. Everything I've had for an entree has been at best edible. The fish, is something I've had no luck ordering. Always fishy tasting or dry or both.
        So if your planning to drink and have appetizers, your ok. Their ribs are usually good, also.

        The Village Squire, founded in 1958, is a family-owned and operated food establishment. It is an English pub-style casual dining restaurant that features live musical shows. The restaurant s menu includes more than 100 food items, including beef, steak, fish and cheese sandwiches, as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, baby back ribs and pasta. It has a seating capacity of over 200 guests and is famous for serving a variety of drinks, including foreign and domestic beer and wines, specialty coffee drinks and alcohol-free beverages. Additionally, the restaurant provides gift cards and operates a birthday and anniversary club that offers special gifts to its members. The Village Squire, with a location in Crystal Lake, Ill., also operates restaurants in Dundee, McHenry and South Elgin, Ill.
