Baci Grill

Appalling how the way the GM treated guests on Easter, especially after those guess waited a solid half an hour due to complete lack of organization. No attempt to seat guests in any order as to how long they had been waiting with a reservation, any inquiry and you were clearly a bother, got no answer and were urged to leave the restaurant to wait?! Owner may wish to show up and see how badly her restaurant is running. Bartender was a doll, the only saving grace.

Well, unfortunately, we had the Easter buffet today at the Baci Grill. A big disappointment. Where to start? Well, here are some highlights of the food: Corned beef hash with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce: tasteless, salty corned beef mixture, unlike any corned beef hash we've ever had, topped by eggs with totally hard yolks and a weak sauce. Pork bracciola: dry, hard meat. Chicken with cornbread stuffing: overcooked, dry, tough chicken, salty stuffing. Seafood tortellini: seafood? You mean the scarce amount of tiny shrimp in a bland, boxed-taste cream sauce? Then there were the McDonald's quality hash browns, the little pre-formed quiche, the pork ribs that tasted old, the uninspiring desserts....well, the fresh fruit was good. And the carving station beef was tasty. But for almost $29? There is no talent in that kitchen. And the piece de resistance? Being charged the gratuity for so-so service....i.e. being served coffee with no cream and then when we finally caught our waiter and asked for cream he says, "You want MORE cream?". Fellow diners: stay away.
