Crestview Kennels

For a place that deals with dogs on a constant basis...I am appalled at the level of ignorance that was spoken to me about a certain type of dog. I called trying to have my two dogs groomed and boarded for the night next week. When informing them that my babies are APBT's, I was told things such as "what a brave woman you are to have two of them..it's like carrying around a loaded weapon" and "owners have to be so careful because anything little thing will be a trigger..how stressful." The hilarious part of all this is that both women stated they have "bull terriers". I guess these women are unaware that a "pit bull" is not a breed but a type of dog. This type of dog includes breeds such as APBT's, Staffordshire Terriers, Bulldogs, and....Bull Terriers (mini and standard). My dogs were discriminated against for being "pit bulls" when both women admitted to owning...you guessed it..."pit bulls".

Ignorance like what was displayed here is what keeps giving these dogs a bad name!
