My boyfriend dropped off his puppy that had parvovirus here where he was able to recieve treatment. I called the animal shelter to see how the puppy was doing in hopes of adopting him. When my boyfriend first dropped him off he spoke to a lady who promised to put him at the top of the adoption list. Once I called, the ladies working there gave me much attitude for asking about the puppy. They kept telling me unless I had $600 I wasn't going to get him. I called back a second time and they told me he was not up for adoption and then proceeded to tell me that he was going to be sent to some animal rescue group in south Florida upon finishing treatment. The next day, I look on Instagram, and a girl who works at the Crawfordville animal hospital has the puppy that we have been asking for and trying to check up on. We found out from her that she was able to adopteven though we were told otherwise. The workers here are very biased, rude, and not truthful. It's all about who you know.
