E-BEAM processing is also widely used for medical device sterilization, cosmetics sterilization and pharmaceutical sterilization. Based in Cranbury, N.J., E-BEAM was incorporated in 1985 to acquire the radiation service division of a subsidiary of Monsanto. E-BEAM is a privately owned corporation with nearly 50 employees.
