FROM THE FIRST TIME I STEPPED INTO THIS WINN-DIXIE BEFORE 2005 BECAUSE MY CHILDREN MOVED OVER HERE IN 2000 & 2001. DAVE AND MYSELF HAVE ALWAYS FELT WELCOME AND THE HOSPITALITY OF THE STAFF IS A GREAT BENEFIT. THERE ARE A FEW BAD APPLES IN THE STORE BUT THE BETTER ONES OUTWEIGHT THEM TENFOLD. IT'S A PURE PLEASURE TO SHOP THEIR AND I LOOK FORWARD TO MAKING GROCERIES EVERY WEEK. I DON'T MIND SAVING MY COUPONS, I LOVE THE SALES, MY HUSBAND AND I ARE ON A FIXED INCOME SO WE HAVE TO WATCH EVERY PENNY. THE PHARMACIST IN THE DRUG DEPT. ARE ALSO VERY HELPFUL,FRIENDLY, AND COURTEOUS. DAVE AND I HAD TO RE-LOCATE TO COVINGTON BECAUSE OF KATRINA AND WE CAME HERE WITH NO RECORDS. SO, YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE AMOUNT OF ASSISTANCE WE NEEDED FROM THIS PETICULAR STORE #1448 TO RETRIEVE ALL OUR INFORMATION TO PROCEED WITH OUR SOCIAL AND MEDICAL NEEDS. THANKS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS. MS. I am not sure who Mark D. is but I am here to tell you there is absolutely "NO WAY" the manager would not have taken steps to remedy his accusation. Let's face it---what that clerk did was illegal and the police should have been called. I find the review without merit as he took no other steps to reconcile the problem. No call to corporate office, no call to police...just telling the manager and letting it go. I have ALWAYS found the staff friendly, courteous, professional, helpful and eager to meet my needs. DON'T stay away from this store. It has lots of great people who work there and you would be robbing yourself of the opportunity to be helped by the best. Just my opinion from 4 years of doing business with Best Buy.
My projection tv was going off while we were watching. It was very annoying and I thought it could be a serious problem. I called Ray, explained the my problem. He told me it was the lamp, which I could not believe since I had just changed it one month ago. Luckly I decided to follow his suggestion, bought a new lamp from him, and my tv is working great. The color is even brighter than before !
