Dr. Kevin M Plaisance, MD

I received a call from Dr. Plaisance nurse telling me that my mammogram was abnormal and I needed to have a diagnostic mammogram and a sonogram. It took a week to get the tests done. When I finished they told me I should hear from Dr. Plaisance's office by the end of the day. I waited until 4pm to hear so I called, I was told they did not have my results,(I called the hospital after and was told they did have the results). They said they would look for the fax the next day and let me know. I waited and had not heard anything by 10am, so I called again, I was told my tests results were normal. I asked when she had planned to call with my results. I still cannot fathom what I was told, we do not call if the results are normal. Wait you can call and turn my world upside down with one phone call, but you cannot relieve my pain with one call. I am very disappointed. The fact that I have not heard from Dr. Plaisance tells me one of two things, either his nurse did not tell him how upset I was or he just doesn' t care. You took an oath to do no harm!
