Frisch's Big Boy Restaurant

The drive thru service is extremely slow

I just stopped in there half hour ago got a fish sandwich and it was as hard as a rock how much longer can stay in business ???

I ate here tonight, after work. My friend ordered soup (98% broth). We mentioned it to the waitress, who replied that it was the best she could do. The other waiter (not ours) went ahead and brought my friend soup that had substance and not just broth.



Our food arrived, and we asked for extra tarter sauce. Our waitress said they didn't have any more. The other waiter was able to get us some, which was nice. Still, our food was luke warm; my fries were floppy.



When we left, I used my card to pay, and requested that my tip be given to the waiter that had helped us. The manager PAT NELSON, was cashing me out. I hadn't hit the "Is this amount okay" button, and I hadn't signed. Pat said that the tip had to be given to OUR waitress. So I told her I wanted it cancelled so I could pay with cash. Pat said it was too late to cancel my payment (although it hadn't been signed or verified).



I asked Pat what would happen if I didn't sign it or verify it, and she said, "I'll call the police, and you'll go to jail." Ridiculous, but also incredibly rude.



My family loves Big Boy, but it is SO worth it to head south on the interstate to go to the Florence locations-- Dream St. or Turfway. The food is better, and the servers are nice and HELPFUL. Also, the managers assist the customer, instead of just allowing their bitterness to seep out...

This place is the normal big boy joint..But I have a question for you...I always haver to run to the bathroom after I eat there...do you?
