I am 64 years old and have been seeing Dr. J.J. Carr for 7 years now, while my wife has been seeing his wife, Dr. Lana Carr. The medical care is excellent and if I need to be seen right away for some reason, they can normally have me come in the same or next day. The most outstanding aspect of this physician practice group is that the waiting time is the smallest I have ever known! On my last visit, for example, I was in the exam room about 4 minutes after my appointment time and Dr. Carr came in less than a minute later. This is very typical of his practice, because he allows enough time to listen to patients. I think the few times I have had to wait more than 30 minutes was due to patients that did not have a prior appointment but needed to be seen urgently.

I love Dr. Dubberly so much. He cares about his patients and spends time with them. I really feel like I'm getting taken care of as his patient. The downside of this practice though is the wait time. Usually, I wait a minimum of two hours past my appointment and have waited up to five hours. The front staff are very busy and often times talk to patience on the telephone about things that really should be discussed behind close doors, not in the lobby. The practice truly feels like a rat race with everyone going in every different direction. Their processes need to be improved upon greatly and the only reason I stay is because of Dr. Dubberly, who seems to do everything he can, but can only do so much.
Dr. Cohn has proven to be a committed & effective physician. After years of battling with weight, horrible ER visits with no answers and just criticism about my weight, she showed up at my hospital bedside in the middle of the night. She, along with Dr. Robert Burke, diagnosed and eventually treated me for Cushing's syndrome. It truly changed my life. Unfortunately, even though their treatment of me has been successful and consistent with follow ups, multiple sclerosis has paralyzed me from chest down. However, Dr. Cohn's continued treatment has made MS diagnosis and quality of life more manageable for me. She is absolutely a true asset to the medical profession.
