We go to this restaurant a lot because we love love LOVE their food but there is one waitress that is rude as hell and she's like the Brunhelda of the wait staff. I don't know what her deal is but she never smiles and always seems like she's to damn bothered to wait on people. She has horrible waitress manners. She forgot something in my order and after trying to flag her down with no success, we asked someone else and then she ended up having to bring the order out and she didn't even apologize for forgetting or anything. She just threw it on the table and took off. I'll try to go and get a different table on the other side of the room to avoid having her serve us but she just always seems to show up to ours. She seems to be fine with other guests and happily speaks spanish with them so I'm guessing she's just a mean prejudiced heffer. We're still going to go there and keep trying to avoid her.

THE SCENE: Spacious (perfect for dining in large groups), the restaurant gives options for booth sitting or large tables. Most of the employees belong to the same family (Mexican immingrants). The entire staff understands English, but most respond only in Spanish. THE FOOD: Generous portions of entrees such as Green Chicken Enchiladas (the sauce is green, not the chicken!) and Jalisco-style Chicken (A boneless chicken breast pan-seared then topped with mushrooms, shrimp, and white cheese) leave smiles behind. A bowl of charro beans is a good alternate dip for the tortilla, and sometimes fried flour tortilla chips. The lemonade is freshly squeezed and the Horchata (rice water with vanilla) goes great with the pan dulce (sweetbread).
