They were dispatched to us for a warranty repair when our garage was flooding out the driveway over a ruined hot water heater. Almost three days later (still leaking out the driveway from garage) a tech shows up, writes down how many gallons the size was and leaves. I said "sir, it's still leaking! Can you at least look at the valve and get the water to stop?" he said "we'll be back, I just needed this info quick." so I expected him to come back and at least stop the leak. Never did. He told my husband that night that they have five attempts to repair this discontinued, outdated model by special ordering parts, FIVE TIMES before the warranty company makes them replace it and the first parts order would be in in FIVE more days. Ultimately it could be weeks before they are forced to replace it!! Nothing like milking the warranty company while we have water running down our driveway!! Not to mention NO hot water!! BOGUS ETHIC!!! My husband replaced it within about two hours for 300$ including piping and fittings. We are tenants. Money gone.
They are now calling us, the tenant, asking to be paid!! For what? Writing down the gallon size which they already knew??!! We were flooded and he did nothing!! BOOO!
