We recently went to eat there last week, hadn't been there in over six months. The place was filthy and dirty, the employees looked dirty, food taste horrible not fresh, the desserts...well not many to choose from and taste horrible, fruit was terrible and looked old, not fresh. they seem to be nazi's with there fortune cookies and as we were leaving there was a very upset customer who was not happy and yelling at the employees, but the employees did not handle this situation professional they handled it like the unhappy customer very unprofessional. Was a wast of my $50 something dollars for a family of 5. Never will we eat there again and the only reason i give them one star rating is because you cant write a review unless you rate the buisness, my opinion would be zero star rating.
Dear Customer, I apologize for any inconvenience(s) you have experienced from our services. We at New China take all health/food safety issues seriously. We are aware of your concerns and have addressed them to management. As for our take-out trays, we have not changed the size of our boxes for over twelve years. Although we occasionally change suppliers, the ounces contained in our serving size remains the same. Due to several issues in which customers over-serve their take-out trays, New China is putting forth stronger efforts to prevent these instances from reoccurring. To help ensure take-outs remain an all-around smooth experience, we have posted several signs explaining how "Buffet-Togo"s work, which has greatly reduced our need to watch over customers as they serve. Our floors do tend to get filthy as they are heavily trafficked. However, during food-service hours we concentrate more on table-tops, preparation surfaces, and cooking instruments. We do not serve food from off the floor, so you don't need to worry that the "things" you saw being tossed into the fryer "could be dropped food from ground". If you have any further issues feel free to notify a staff member so that he/she may deal with the situation immediately. New China does not allow filming in the restaurant without permission as we make great effort to protect the privacy of our customers. Thank you for sharing your concerns, and we hope any future experience with us will be a pleasant one.
We use to eat at this place all the time, its been a couple months we thought we try it again, long story short, trays are alot smaller, no more soy sauce packages, the old dude wanted to give me half a bowl of rice, when its suppose to be full to the top, when the lady filled it up for me, he was sweeping and opened up my tray with his dirty hands, then i saw him swipe some sesame chicken that someone dropped on side bar back into the pan of chicken, there is people standing over you when your filling up your tray now, but they dont tell you anything, so there is no point in it if there not going to speak up, so i waited for a while and kept seeing the kitchen door open, i got my video camera out and started vidding, now that we get home we can see how dirty the ground is and the workers and seems like they just throwing stuff in the fryers and every once in a while u see them toss a single thing in some of the baskets in the fryers, these things could be dropped food from ground, im post a video soon and hopefully show kitchen cops, i threw away my 40 dollars in food and were going to outback steakhouse! w00t dont eat here
