Atlantis Pool and Spa

He’s done my pool for quite some time. He’s replasted, remodeled, and fixed me up with an easy to manage natural gas heater with proper ventilation. If you’re looking for quality maintenance, replaster, remodeling, or even building a pool he’s the man to go too! The thing I liked the most about Mike was his knowledge on safety and proper regulations for our pool and spa heater. Highly recommend him!

I am the owner of Atlantis Pool and Spa. We have 27 years of experience. We did do a service call on Jan 15, 2014 for Miss Tiffany Mitchell at 13546 King Philip Ct on Padre Island and charged the normal service call charge. She seemed to have no problem with the service call charge.. She asked us to evaluate her spa. We did find that the shell of the spa had cracks all over it. The spas drain covers we not VGB compliant and could not be upgraded. This is a congressional act called VGB 2008 concerning drains in pools and spas. Additionally it was recently enacted as Texas Law by the Texas legislature that spa and pool drains be VGB compliant when a house is sold in Texas. Drains that are not compliant could hold a person underwater. Three grown men can not pull a person off a pool or spa drain with an improper cover. They can be extremely dangerous. Considering the age of the spa, the cracks, the danger of not being VGB compliant and air button problems we recommended the spa be replaced or removed immediately. I absolutely do believe we made did the right decision. Miss Mitchell has never contacted us since the service call and we welcome her to contact us.

I recently bought a home with a hot tub that was not working. We asked Atlantis to come out and diagnose the problem. They charged $110 to come out and told us the entire hot tub needed to be replaced and did nothing else. My father who has no special knowledge of pools/hot tubs was able to get the hot tub up and running and completely functional in under 30 minutes.
