We had a pretty terrible experience with the Animal Hospital of Padre Island. They have consistently overcharged us & provided services our pet did not need, without communicating the cost beforehand. They are strictly in the business of making money, not caring for your pet. They gave our dog Bordetella (kennel cough) & canine influenza vaccines, only for him to become sick as a result. We will not be returning & will advise others against them! It cost us $140 to board for 48 hours - when I spoke to the manager Noe about our concerns, he confirmed that the staff had failed to properly inform of us the costs up front & failed to call us before services were rendered, but was not willing to do anything to right the situation. This is a blatant lack of customer service.

Excellent Service!
As a customer for many years, my dogs and I have enjoyed Christi and her staff for being very professional and polite. They have been Caller Times "Best of the Best" for 5 years strong and it shows. Great environment and staff, always pleased with their service.

AVOID if you love your pets

Avoid this place at all costs. Owner and partner are very difficult. Can't keep staff for any significant period of time and that is ONE RED Flag to me. Vet is inexperienced and need more supervision.

These guys are really great!! We bring both our puppy and cat to them and they have treated us wondefully each and every time. I would recommend both their care and boarding services, as we have used and been pleased with both!!
