My husband and I were waaaay overdue for some time to ourselves. All we wanted to do was go see a movie, but have no family or friends nearby for babysitting our 2 yeard old son. Somehow my husband found out about this place. I was scepticle at first, as I would be with any place for my child. The outside of the building looks a bit uninviting, but once you go inside, it was a very nice surprise! The facility was very clean, well lit, and huge. You wouldn't think from the outside how large it is inside. The older kids were in a different area from the smaller kids, and they were of course playing games on the computers. The younger kids have a huge area where they can play games, toys, etc. Then, there is a built in kind of gymboree area, where the kids can tumble, and go thru a tunnel. Then there is an area built like a little house, where the kids can play pretend inside. Then they have round tables set up for arts and crafts in another area. Then, in the back there is a movie "theatre" for all the kids. A flat screen TV and carpeted built in huge bench like stairs for them to sit and watch! My husband asked if he could stay instead of our son! Our son loved it!!
My daughter had been enrolled in the Montessori program in Chicago, IL since she was 1 years old. We recently moved to Corona, CA and two weeks ago she began the 2 year old program. I visited quite a few schools in Corona but Countryside Montessori stood out amongst the rest. The staff seem to have a great relationship with one another and are genuinely enthusiastic and caring towards the children. My daughter looks forward to school in the morning and when we pick her up she is happy to tell us about her friends and the fun activites she participated in. I feel at ease trusting that my daughter is in good hands and is getting the opportunity to interact in a loving environment with other children.
I choose this facility based on the location, convenience and flexibility of the staff. I sent my 3 yr. old and 8 month old sons to this facility. Between my husband and my hectic work schedules, the staff at Tiny Cubs was very flexible with our needs and allowed us to choose which days we would send our kids to school. Both of my kids really adapted very well to the home school environment and really liked the staff. The staff was very attentive to my kids needs, especially my 8 month old!! Their pricing is VERY reasonable ... and well worth it! My 3 yr. old enjoyed both the academics and play time. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for an in home preschool / daycare.
