Canine Castle

the owner here cares for the animal and watch for it .If they called animal control on one of their client's dog then I must comment them for doing that at the expense of possible losing a customer. Bravo to the owner.

This company worries me. I chatted with them in person in their office, and the employees are very rude, very cold. I liked them on Facebook because they were a groomer/boarder in my hometown. They then began to harass me on Facebook, after I posted info on my own wall (not on their wall, or directed at them) about various forms of animal abuse on factory farms, in circuses, in testing labratories and in hunting practices. They left a nasty message on my public Facebook wall defending the animal abuse as basically a necessary evil. I would be very concerned about sending any family pet to this facility. If this company's owner has time to harass people on Facebook and defend instances of animal abuse (rather than promote animal wellbeing), then I am worried for the animals entrusted to their care. Coupled with my poor experience upon visiting their facilities (rather shabby building, rude employees), I extend a heartfelt warning to anyone considering this company.



Response to the Response: Canine Castle is suggesting that I posted directly on their page about factory farming. I DID NOT. The company is blatantly lying to cover up what their owner did. I posted on MY OWN FACEBOOK PAGE. The company owner must have seen my posts go through the news feed. Anyone who uses Facebook knows how that works. But at no time did I ever interact with Canine Castle's Facebook page other than to like and then to dislike it. The owner of Canine Castle went on my personal Facebook page and harassed me. Misunderstanding or not... this company was the one on my personal page. Not the other way around. I never post vegan information on other people's walls. This company needs to simply apologize for the harassment on my personal Facebook page and leave it at that.

Canine Castle has always been my place to go when it comes to pet nutrition and dog boarding. I use to live in Huntersville NC where I found Canine Castle. Unfortunately I had to move down south. I have 4 big beautiful furry children and every time I need to make a vacation place, my husband and I plan our trips around going by Canine Castle to have them watch our dogs. I would never trust anyone else with my dogs. Not all of my dogs are the most ideal dog situation but they are still my babies. One of my dogs requires a topical lotion to be placed on her skin everyday do to her allergies. When I pick her up she is always rash free because of their great care. Another one of my dogs is scared to death of other dogs do to coming from a rescue that had abused fighting dogs, where he was used as a bait dog. Canine Castle graciously offers a environment where this particular dog can be away from other dogs. My third dog is soooo hyper, every time I pick him up he sleeps the whole way home (5 hrs). My fourth dog has bad separation anxiety. When she is picked up I find her sleeping under the owners desk, staying close to someone who cares.

Not many places would kindly reach out a helping hand to all of my furry children. Past places I have been have told me that they cant accommodate such needs as all 4 of my dogs. Canine helps with no hesitation. Thank you guys. See ya'll next vacation.

I have been a client since they opened. I'm a very busy lawyer so I don't have time to take my dogs out regularly .They do so great with my dogs at doggie daycare. I also board them several times a month and have never had a problem. They go above and beyond to make my dogs feel at home. if your looking for a place to go, it's at Canine Castle.

I have been boarding and getting my dog groomed at Canine Castle for many years. I have always though their grooming is the best. My Bichon has never looked better. I would recommend them to anyone. Its also great that you can board your dog, get it groomed & buy food all in one place.

I would recommend this groomer for anyone! It is a very nice facility and the groomers are extremely nice. They always do a great job. They also have a cute store.

I would not use this groomer. I dropped my sheltie off for a wash and trim on the stomach and hind end and when I returned to get him he was completely shaved. I was horrible upset because I gave specific instructions when I dropped him and returned to a shaven dog. I requested my money back and they refused. They told me I could get a discount on my next visit, as if I would ever return.

We entrusted the grooming of our elderly cocker spaniel to the Canine Castle. Prior to the grooming we had discussed with the owner that our pet was partially disabled due to his age & that it required special effort in order to groom the dog to which the owner agreed. The groomer shaved the dog down with the exception of a portion of his stomach and one back hip & leg at which point they discontinued any grooming of the animal. She then had the dog ceased by animal control with claims of animal cruelty. The dog was immediately released back into our care by animal control and evaluated by our local Vet. The vet concluded the condition of the dog is normal based on the age of the dog. The accusations of Canine Castle have been deemed totally false. I do not recommend this grooming business to anyone who cares and loves their pets.
