Dental Examination
Dentures over a normal course of time will wear and need to be replaced or relined in order to keep the jaw alignment normal. The alignment will slowly change as the bone and gum ridges recede or shrink due to the extraction of the teeth. Regular dental examinations are still important for the denture wearer so that the oral tissues can be checked for disease or change.

Teeth Cleaning
Prophylaxis can be performed at our Pompano Beach dental office. We recommend that our patients schedule their teeth cleaning twice annually as a preventative measure, but should it should be completed every 3-4 months for periodontitis sufferers. It should also be noted that gum disease cannot be completely reversed, but prophylaxis is one of the tools to effectively halt its progression.
Dental Sealants
Highly effective in preventing decay on the biting surfaces of your chewing teeth, dental sealants are a simple procedure in which a tooth-colored acrylic “coating” is painted onto the surface of the tooth. This effectively “seals” the deep grooves, acting as a barrier and protecting enamel from plaque and acids.

Fillings
Bonding is the application of a tooth-colored composite resin to repair or improve the appearance of decayed, chipped, fractured, discolored teeth, to make them appear longer, and as a cosmetic alternative to amalgam fillings. It also may be used to close spaces between teeth, to make teeth look longer or to change the shape or color of teeth. The bonding procedure can often be completed in a single office visit, and can improve the appearance of a tooth significantly. However, since the plastic resin used is not as strong as your natural tooth enamel, it is more likely to stain, chip or break than natural teeth.
Resin Composite
Veneers
Sometimes referred to as porcelain laminates, veneers are thin, translucent, custom-made moldings that cover the face of unsightly teeth. Often as thin as a contact lens, they are an excellent solution for teeth that are stained, chipped or slightly misaligned. This very natural-looking cosmetic procedure is a conservative approach to improving a smile.
Crowns
The crown material is placed into the chamber of the CEREC machine. It is sculpted by forceful water jets as per the dentist’s CAD software.
Bridges
Implants are a not only for restoring a smile, but for replacing teeth with natural looking alternatives. Dental implants are frequently the best treatment option for replacing missing teeth, and because the don’t rest on the gum like removable dentures or use adjacent teeth as anchors like fixed bridges, dental implants are superior long-term replacements.

Bone Grafting
With bone grafting, we now have the opportunity to not only replace bone where it is missing, but also the ability to promote new bone growth in that location! This not only gives us the opportunity to place implants of proper length and width, it also gives us a chance to restore functionality and esthetic appearance.

Invisalign Orthodontics
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Braces

A simple extraction, where the dentist loosens the tooth, then removes it carefully with forceps typically requires just a local anesthetic (an injection). If the tooth is impacted, broken at the gum line or has unusually large roots, a surgical extraction may need to be performed.
