GCI will never cut my hair again. I wait 1 hr then the instructor cuts my hair. I still have to pay. They left a section of hair not cut. I look like I have a mohawk. Now I have to go get it cut again with someone who knows how to cut hair. What a waste of time and money. Don't go there, you will be sorry.

This is a school, so,anytime you have services, done, there are risks. These students are learning! I have had great experiences and the instructors have never been rude! If you want perfect services, go pay the price. You get what you pay for. They have saved me so much money. I get services for special occasions, on days I feel low or services because I just want a change. Who could afford to do that and pay the prices for experienced professionals. I have done, hair root color, hair cut, hair styled, upper body treatment, fake eye lashes, eye brow tints and pedicures and manicures. They are learning! Are all my services perfect, NO....but you sign a paper stating you understand they are learning. If you want a day of pampering, you could go and spend hours getting various treatments and not spend $100.00. I usually spend $100.00 just to get my hair colored and it takes 2 hrs or less and I leave. Here I spent $18.00 for hair roots, gave a $5.00 tip and person cut and styled my hair. People have to learn somewhere, and what they are learning the most is HOW difficult "we the customers" really are. Guide them to what you need, you teach, complain and ctiticize, you stop creativity. Go pay the higher prices or come her3, enjoy the experiences, the prices and just guide to what you need. Instructors will step in and make things right. What instructor would want disgruntled people, they are there to teach, not be yelled at....just a thought. Oh, need to leave, headed to GA college, I need hair color. What fun!

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Georgia Career Institute! I went to get serves for my hair and asked them about my previous permanent color application rinsing out every time I shampooed my hair. I was told by instructors that it should not have rinsed out, that it was done incorrectly and that they will apply more color at no extra charge. When I came to have the color put in, I was told by Donna the campus Director that I had to pay for the color. First off, I never asked to speak to the director about getting color, the instructor brought her out to confirm what I thought was already confirmed the first time, that I was to get my color at no charge. But when she came to speak to me she was incredibly nasty and rude and spoke to me like I was a child. She immediately had an attitude and tried to tell me about my hair that she personally has never worked on or even touched. She gave me an excuse about how permanent color rinses, and then she tried to tell me my hair was thin and damaged from previous color and that it would take several applications for the color told hold! I told her that was never expressed to me when the first application was made and that I was told that another application would be at no charge. She said this conversation was ridiculous and that I can either pay or not get any services and then walked away from me. The customer service was just flat out disrespectful and unacceptable! When I asked for the supervisor above Donna, I was told by the instructor that there was no one above her, which was a flat out lie. I have never been so disrespected in my life! They are extremely unprofessional and they have a sorry campus director, and it's sad because she is representing them as the HEAD of the school. To think that it's okay to treat clients like that is absolutely absurd! I will never go back for any service, or recommend anyone get a service or apply to any programs, period!!

The Massage Program is excellent!! The teachers are well versed in their fields, and never fail to reach out to their students. I would definitely recommend the Massage Program to anyone looking into that field! Another resource for students seeking more help is to ask one of the Elite Students in the program.

The Massage Program is the BEST

My name is Nerissa and am in my last month of the Massage Program at GCI. The instructors are well versed in their fields and do an excellent job of preparing you not only for the state exam but also getting you ready to enter the job market. The instructors & staff are always available to help and the Massage Progam also has a team of Elite Students available to help fellow students! Come join the best massage program around!
