As the owner of Alford Motor Company, I would like to comment on the negative review left by Mr. g35lemon. We at Alford Motor Company always do everything in our power to help our customers and we truly went above and beyond in assisting this customer. The stated warranty would not fix his car because a head gasket failure was not covered due to the mileage being well over 140,000 miles, which was clearly disclosed in large bold letters on said contract paperwork. After a misdiagnosis of customer's problem by his outside shop and at the customer's request, the warranty was cancelled and a full refund was given on said warranty and was applied to his loan at his lienholder, as is required by law due to the fact that the warranty was financed into his loan and cost the customer no out-of-pocket money. My business paid to fix the problem we did find with his G35, which was a cracked radiator, not a head gasket. His claims of theft of money are absolutely false, as was proven in Horry County Small Claims Court, who promptly dismissed his frivolous case. We were also cleared of all wrong doings by the Better Business Bureau and SCDMV Dealer Licensing and Audit Unit. This is the one and only negative review by any customer I have had since we opened in late 2006. I had a great experience dealing with Mr. Connor and AJ. However , there were 3 scratches on the car that should of been fixed before I picked it up. When I got there the car was taken back to the shop and they " tried " to fix the scratches and re washed it. From there the BLACK car sat out to air dry. Meanwhile I'm waiting and waiting. Mr . Connor and myself had to dry it off ourselves with paper towels because they " didn't have towels ". I was very upset and disappointed by this. The GM even drove up in the golf cart and could of cared less that I was having to clean off my own car.
I am Billy's wife and replying to you by dictating to you for him. I went to look a explorers for my wife. I did come across on and made a great deal and to my satisfaction. I did get a 2016 for less than what I was looking at a previous Ford dealership. They were not up front about the explorers previous accident. We had to find out through our bank. That did put a distrust in them. My wife is happy and thank to you for a good deal. Also I wasn't to happy with the detailing. The door jams were not wipe down. My wife told me it wouldn't take much to wipe the door jams down.
