Located in Conway, Arkansas, Grace Adoptions is directed by Edward & Sharon Appler and governed by a board of directors consisting of adoptive parents, adult adoptees, social workers, clergy, and other business professionals. "We have raised two children to adulthood and are well aware of the joys, trials, and pitfalls of parenting. We believe every child should have a loving family and are committed to linking children and families together. "My social work career has covered a broad spectrum of human services: Community Center Director; Executive Director of Catherine's House, a teen pregnancy intervention program; Executive Director of the Union Rescue Mission, a shelter for the homeless and Dorcas House for battered women. During this time Sharon and I became involved in doing home studies for adoptive families and then I became the Social Services Director for an adoption agency located in Central Arkansas. Sharon and I established Grace Adoptions, a licensed child placement agency in the state of Arkansas, in August of 2000.
