Sudz Z Pup

My dog came out with a terrible rash. I don't know what they bathed him with, if they bathed him at all. They quoted a price on the phone, when they finally answered, then charged more at pick up. My dog and I are very unhappy.

Our experience with Sudz Pup was great and our dear family pet was clearly happy with their services. We moved from a smaller city and needed to find a place for our family pet. She regularly gets bathes and grooming but in the location we came from, when I took her to be groomed she increasingly had more and more anxiety. I just thought it was age. Although reluctant to stay, when I picked her up, she was the least anxious I had ever seen her after a grooming. Her hair was longer than usual but they at least took their time with her. She looked and smelled great! But I must say I was mostly very pleased with her state of being and she had the whole shebang done to include a summer cut because she is inside more than out. I will be back! The staff was kind and polite. They had to charge a little more than I was initially told, but they put a lot of work into her and it took more time than they expected to do in order to get the worthwhile results!

please do not take your dog here, this place is a total rip off. they will tell you one price and when you go to pick up your dog the price has ballooned to a much higher price ,just very dishonest , I decided to give them a second chance and I should have know better they failed once again I will never never never ever go back. And my dog was not does not look like it was groomed by a professional, it really looks like i did it my self. I have worked in a customer service profession for thirty years now and believe me this is not good customer service. I'm not saying this because I'm mad but because it's the truth and i don't want anybody else to be ripped of by this place.

First time customer and terrible, terrible service! They chopped my dog's hair off and left uneven spots on her neck, stomach, and ears. On top of this, they over charged my elderly mother who was pet sitting!! Trust me, unless you want your dog looking straight wack, dont bring your dog here!!

They did not do what I asked as far as my dog's haircut. They left his sanitary clip and one of his legs uneven. They left some stained hair on his face after I asked to cut it all off. They barely trimmed him when I asked for them to take about an inch off. It looked like the just brushed him excessively...they took out all his curl. And they left one of his ears matted. She repeated my number back to me before I left when I dropped him off. When they hadn't called, I called them to see if he was ready. She said yes and that she tried to call but it was a wrong number. She repeated my number back to me and it was completely wrong. How did she mess that up when she had repeated it back to me before I left and it was correct? Worst of all, he came back smelling like shampoo and cigarettes. I took him somewhere else to fix his cut. Not impressed.

No confidence in this groomer. High cost for unfinished haircut, the haircut alone is reason enough not to go back, but when the groomer cut my dog and then lied to me about it was the final straw. Never mind the fact the groomer had my dog twice as long than expected, she didnt call me to come and get my dog I got worried and went there to see why it was taking so long. This owner had the opportunity to make it better for my dog and for me and failed miserably. Poor, Poor,Poor.

I love the service that I get from this business. The owner is so caring and you can tell she loves what she does. She also does a great job. I take my dog there on a regular basis....great service, great price!!

I agree with Mary...this is the best groomer around. I frequent this place every month with my boxer and they do an awesome job. The staff is very friendly.

Don't listen to the comment above, that was a disgruntled employee who thought she could do better on her own and it turned out she couldn't. I truly one hundred percent believe that this is the best grooming shop in converse and the surrounding area better than fancy faces too! The people are so sweet and they treated my baby girl right. Norma is the best groomer out there and if you live in converse and think there’s a better shop for cheaper prices your wrong. This is absolutely the best shop ever will never go anywhere else!

I would not recommend this groomer at all, there were too many discrepancies in what was discussed. I was given a quote and was charged a higher amount, I was told they would be out in 2.5 hours and it took over 4.5. The dogs look nice but weren't saved down as I requested, their ears are too long, and nails are long as well so they will need to be groomed sooner than normal. To make matters worse we came home and one dog had several pcs of hair in her eye leaving her unable to open it until we got them out. The worst part is we've had to rebathe the dogs because of the constant itching and chewing not sure what they used but my dogs can't tollerate it.
