I called this agency in Commerce about 5-6 weeks ago. I had a fairly long conversation with the girl who answered the phone about what kind of vacation I wanted for my 13 year old son and I. I have been waiting 20 years to go to Hawaii and I am finally going this year. I was told by a friend that when she used this travel agency to go to Hawaii that she had trouble getting them to call her back and a delay in the travel agent purchasing the package for them caused them to incur extra money out of pocket. I decided to give the travel agent a chance as I wanted to support a local business and I figured my friends experience happened two years ago so it should be safe. I called on a Thursday and was told someone would call me on Monday. A month later I still had not received a call back.. I was very upset and thought maybe they didn't relay the message so I would call back and give them another chance. When I called back I spoke with the girl who was the one who was suppose to get the message and call me back the first time.. I told her about my hesitation in using the agency from what my friend said and the experience of the no call I had already had. She said she was sorry. Once again I told the agent that we wanted to go to Hawaii and what island and so on.. She took my phone number and my email address and said she would have some information to me. In my world of work ethic, if I received a call from someone like me, I would have done everything I could to turn the situation around and make the customer be glad they tried back. Well I made that second call over a week ago and I have not heard one thing back from them. I do not want a call from them now and I certainly do not want to do business with them. I explained to them that I have always done my travel for myself and wanted to give a travel agent a try for a change. That was a big mistake. Thanks for nothing!
