NO STARS, please. Big, yes. Junk absolutely. There is just so much garage sale junk, I did not believe my eyes. And it goes on and on and on, boring!! And the smell. But, oh wait. They share the builiding with Badger Disposal, the local trash pick up service. And the filthy carpets ont he floors have not been vaccumed since the were removed from someone's home. Museum-Christopher Columbus, NO WAY. Just a collection of 1892 world's fair souveniers. Nothing, absolutely nothing, original to CC. But do not expect much from such a massive plie of things. The other review is right. Just junk, So unless you want used new stuff, avoid this black hole. Go downtown to the some of the finest stores I have every seen, in a historic district, and well organized, full of real 100 year old antiques, not garage sale stuff. And very able to service all of your needs too, since one has upholstery, one has vintage shades, complete lighiting repair, and a licensed appraisal service. As is typical of old worn out factories/warehouses, nothing but newer old worn out used items. Cannot distill how disappointing thisn place was, and the counter clerks were rude too. Shabby chic would be the best they have, and that is not saying much.

OH MY GOODNESS, I LOVE THIS MALL...IT'S HUGE HUGE HUGE!!! 3 FLOORS!!! THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOME SORT OF SALE GOING ON...THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!! THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO FIND ANYTHING FROM GORGEOUS ANTIQUE GLASS TO STUNNING ANTIQUE FURNITURE..THIS FURNITURE IS REAL WOOD...NOT THE JUNK THAT IS MADE NOW...THE 3RD LEVEL HAS TONS OF FURNITURE PLUS THERE IS SMALLER FURNITURE PIECES ALL OVER THE MALL!!! THEY HAVE ALOT OF WONDERFUL COLLECTABLES AS WELL AS THE VERY OLD ANTIQUES...SO WHATEVER ""ERA"" IS YOUR HEARTS DESIRE YOU WILL FIND YOUR TREASURES THERE!!! THE OWNERS ARE VERY NICE AND THE STAFF THERE IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL... I LIKE THE HUGE VARIETY OF ITEMS THAT THIS MALL HAS...AND I LIKE THAT THEY HAVE A SITTING AREA FOR COFFEE AND A SNACK SO A PERSON CAN SIT AND REST WHEN THEY FEEL THE NEED. I NEVER GET TIRED OF SHOPPING AT THIS MALL AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE. DID I SAY I LOVE THIS MALL....? LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! ;) STOP IN AND GIVE IT A LQQK...YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!!!!

If I could give no stars, I would. This place is just junk from peoples home. We were a vendor there for about a month before we realized how terribly ran this store is and all of the crap that is in there. They had a break in right after we signed on and didn't do anything to increase security. We were treated very poorly by Rose as well. Please look somewhere else if you are a vendor and if you are shopping there, please go somewhere else as this place is pretty awful.

I had been wanting to drive to Columbus to visit this mall since I first discovered it on WisTravel. Especially after reading the two great reviews! What a disappointment. Perhaps it has gone downhill since 2005 when the first reviews were written? I found nothing but a bunch of old glassware and dishes. After driving almost two hours to get there, the only saving grace was that it was within a 15 minute drive to get to the Waterloo Antique Mall - which continues to be one of my favorites and well worth the drive. I found the Columbus Mall to be no better than (perhaps not even as nice as) a neighborhood garage sale where everyone goes through their cupboards to eliminate unused dishes. Plus is smells very musty and is totally devoid of any charm.
