I reduced going here and started going to screens at the continent as the managers have been rude at cinemark on several occasions, and other then one person the staff is unfriendly Management and staff used to be a lot friendlier and accommodating than the last few years.. Some of them were very nice and helpful but not now. I was going here very frequently with others and we have all decided to give most of our business to the only other dollar theater which is family run and struggling so we are not left with only one here in Columbus. I feel the other place needs and appreciates our business more. Who likes to be taken for granted? Both places have some problems but I do appreciate having As many cheap theaters in town as possible and urge others to spend their spending dollars among them..currently we just have two. I like that the screens has much roomier seating and far less people so I can also sit where I want and get in all the movies unlike at cinemark at times. At screens, I am treated like they appreciate my business unlike at carriage place where they could care less about their long term customers. also parking is far less of a problem and screens has dollar popcorn on Wednesdays. I do however like the remodeling and do go there still sometimes as I see little point in spending more than I have to for movies and this allows us the chance to see more movies than the full price.

Taking an acting class through Chad's Broadway2LA studio is the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. I had never acted before and was so nervous going in. But it was actually a lot of fun! The classes were cold reads and we'd have a different partner each time. Then we'd perform for Chad and he would give us critique, pointers, and mostly importantly support. Chad is such a positive spirit and he truly wants to bring out the best from every person he works with. I'm looking forward to taking another class! If you're looking to break into acting, this is a wonderful way to get exposure and make connections in the industry. In fact, due to the showcase at the end of Chad's course, I now have an audition with PCG Talent. This opportunity means so much to me and I feel that I have Chad to thank for it. If you're wondering if you or your child would benefit from taking a class through Broadway2LA, the answer is a resounding YES!

Maybe I just got lucky but... I had a good experience. I ate pizza which was freshly made for me and tasted good. I did not use the bathrooms so I cannot comment on that. My husband and I were the only ones in the theatre and the movie started on time and played without incident. It was quite dark in the theatre and I liked that. The staff did not seem to speak English, but we were able to communicate well enough for the business at hand. This is a theatre where you can see a movie a little after it first comes out at a bargain rate. If you want opulent perfection you should go to an expensive theatre. This is an adequate place for what it is. You get what you pay for and not a bit more.
I would have to say I really like this movie theater, Me and my fiance go here alot and we drive out of our way to come because the chairs are so comfortable to sit in rather than the old fashion "harder than a Brick" chairs.. I really like it now only if they could have clean bathrooms that would be great everytime i go into the ladies room there its like gross pee on the seats toilet paper on the floor and there are usually select few toilets that are usable but other than that this is a great movie theater!!
My wife and I have found the Westpointe Starplex to be a nice change from the giant multiplenes built in recent years. Starplex has very convient parking, the audiences are polite and fun, the kids have been well managed at the times of our visits, seating is comfortable, facility is clean, ticket prices are very reasonable, and important to me, we did'nt have to sit through 30 minutes of TV commercials for cars and telephones, Realtors, etc., before seeing the movie we PAID to see in the first place.

We have a blast everytime we visit Center Stage Players (which perform out of Axis Nightclub.) Not only do they have a great location in the Short North, but they present theater in a fun accessible way. None of that stuffy museum-like theater, this troupe encourages audience participation at its' quirky productions. Their annual production of The Rocky Horror Show is not-to-be-missed!
the arena grand may cost on averange a $1 or $2 more than other places, but its worth it. Im a big guy & the seats are even roomy for me. They even have a bar guys,so we can get through the chick flicks. There are several places to eat & drink around the area,& goodale park is less than a min away. Best date night setting in the city.
This is a great theater to go to for all of us on limited incomes as you can see all the latest movies once they have gone out of the expensive theaters. The theater has been remodeled and many of the theaters have new seats. Staff is friendly, price is right and popcorn is good! What more could any movie lover want or need.
