PLEASE READ :This place is the best, there are three guys there that know how to cut hair! I am african american, though this place may look ghetto on the outside, its clean on the inside. What I like about going here is that these guys know what they are doing, 1. they actually pay attention to your request, 2 they use clean supplies, 3. the actually pay attention to your hair instead of talking to the other barbers about stuff, which wastes your time(one of the many things I hate about getting my haircut), When its your turn to get your haircut they do not go outside for like ten minutes and smoke, at least I've never seen them do it. They constantly make sure your edge-up and hair look equal, they detail ALOT!!. The price right now is 15 for a cut they offer to do you face for like $ 5-8, sometimes theyactually wash your hair and its included in the haircut price. My haircut was never the way I didnt want it and I got my haircut from all of them. These guys actually care and put detail in cutting your hair, I would definately recommend them to anyone. They do freestyle (designs) and eyebrows too.
Small Restaurant, Big Flavor! My wife and I had lunch at Skillet, and we were very impressed. This intimate restaurant serving locally produced food has a nice vibe. There were families with babies, people in their sixties and young couples. The tables were close enough that we were able to talk to the couple at the next table, and they turned out to be regulars at Skillet. In spite of being packed, it was not too loud, and the music was mostly unobtrusive. I take apple cider for granted, but the cider served at Skilliet is the best I've ever had. Not too sweet, with a wonderful flavor ($3 for a tall glass). My "pot roast" shredded turkey was moist and yummy, and the gravy tasted homemade, as did the mashed potatoes. My wife's pulled pork was also fine, and her macaroni was spiced an unexpected kick of hot pepper. Great flavor, and not salty. Our entrees each cost around $13. The path to the one bathroom is through the kitchen, and I noticed that the kitchen is spotlessly clean. We'll be back! Michael Armstrong Bexley, Ohio
I've been going to Gina's exclusively for over four years and have never been dissatisfied with their service. Everyone is always very friendly, lively, and professional. As a music fan I especially love coming to get a great haircut in such a cool atmosphere, with great tunes always on the radio, and lots of fun stuff to look at. To the woman who posted the lousy post about her child misbehaving, I'd say learn how to be a parent first and control your child. In the many years I've been going there, I've never once seen any of the issues she mentioned in her post. Gina's does old fashioned straight-razor cuts with every men's haircut, as well as provides full-face shaving services you don't see anywhere, anymore. All the more reason not to have rambunctious children bouncing around without parental supervision. In my opinion, it would be a significant liability. I will be going back to Gina's for years to come! *****
