If you're a guest at the season's events, make sure that you're part of the celebration, not part of the problem
Some sports fans like to rock up to a bar and cheer on their team. Others live for the traditions: tailgating, party-hosting, and dressing head-to-toe in fan apparel. Here are so…
Hey there friends, I would like to tell u why u should visit this great place!! I have attended this resturant in Dec for the past 2yrs for an office holiday party and always had such a great time, well this time around I took my husband there for his grown and sexy 30th b-day which was July 15th. I requested seating on the patio, and it was the best!! This place was soo relaxing for us and I was so glad that I chose this resturant for he and I to celebrate. Let me share what we had, of course we started off with some drinks, so that I could toast my Hubby. He of course had Blue Moon draft and it was served nice and cold in a tall frosted glass, I of course had a Lemon Drop martini which was fabulous. We started off with the spiniach dip and chips. Then we had a mixed green salad that came with walnuts, apples and a vinergerette dressing. Our waiter BRAD was the bomb!! You know how sometimes u have to look around for the wait staff to see if they are headed back to your direction or not, well this dude was on point. He kept in contact with us for the whole evening. Our main meals were awesome to. I had the Parmesean Ckn with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, my Husband had the Shrimp Scampi w/rice and asparagus. The food was plated perfectly!!(I learned that from the Food Network) Brad also brought out 2 kinds of bread which I thought was cool. There was this cranberry, nut bread and a sliced mini white loaf bread. U could just go for drinks, u will love it, WE DID!!! Thanks friends for listening, Be safe. Truly yours, Katherine
If you are looking for an AUTHENTIC Mexican dining experience in Columbus, run - DO NOT WALK - to Playa Largo! (To give you a clue as to how authentic this restaurant is, the menu is in Spanish and the clientele when I was there was almost entirely of Hispanic or Latino descent.) Absolutely excellent and quite delicious mix of tasty home-style cooking, as well as traditional American/Mexican "fusion" dishes and very near gourmet grade Mexican dishes. Service is at a relaxed pace, and food was served by several members of the cooking staff when I dined there with a friend. Having lived previously in both Texas and Southern California, this humble establishment was exactly what I had been missing! Not for everyone if you prefer familiar Americanized Mexican served at lunch-hour pacing, but If you are somewhat adventurous in your eating preferences, try Playa Largo. You will NOT be disappointed.
The Northstar Cafe is my favorite Easton pre-movie dining experience. Northstar's excellent menu selections are complemented by the urban trendy atmosphere. Someday I'll rouse myself early enough to try their tempting breakfast menu (e.g. prosciutto and poached eggs, sweet potato and turkey hash, mushroom frittata) but to date I've tried only their sandwich menu. On my latest visit, I had the chicken and avocado sandwich. The roasted red pepper and argula are perfect complements to the flavorful chicken. Having survived a 32-year meatless period and countless lousy veggie burgers, I feel qualified to declare the Northstar Burger (meatless) among the best I've tasted. Add a nice selection of draft and bottled beer, and you'll have the nutrients essential to complete the walk to the movie theater. Michael Armstrong, Bexley, Ohio
