We went in because we were driving around looking for places we were greeted by the manger and shes a very nice lady. When we told her what we were looking for she said ""were running a special for a 3bdrm rigt now $735"". We were so excited when we herd that price. At that time there was a person waiting approval for the place(sure) We couldnt view the home at that time so we were showed a video it looked ok but i was a little worried because they dont hava a pool or a play area for my children but we went ahead and filled out an application because we were on a time crunch! We got approved about a week later when we went to view the place still the price was that $735 special we viewed the place with Karen(front desk very nice) and she told us the same exact price! So we decided to go ahead with it because it was a good price altho we didnt like that there wasnt any activities for our children but it felt like a nice home. We went in to put down the $200 deposit and we were prorated to move in a week later(which was fine). Meanwhile we never got any paperwork saying the deposit was non-refundable while all the oher complexes we visited stated those things up front and made us sign documentation about this! The problem is when we got there to sign the lease the monthly rent had been changed from $735 to $765 WHAT WOW! how in a weeks time did this change well...............The manger goes on to state oh that was for a half basement by this time my husband is ready to walk because why all this time even after showing us the place were we not told this????????? Im confused about that if you know you dont have that available why were we given the price for SOMETHING YOU DONT HAVE! Now there telling us we can get our deposit back because it was off the market. How can you just do that to people lie and its ok but i am very upset with this property and i am looking into telling the property owner about this!
