Operational for more than 30 years, Rotolo's Pizza is a casual dining restaurant that offers small, medium and large pizzas. The restaurant serves pizzas with various toppings, such as beef, sausage, pepperoni, ham, black olives, anchovies and mushrooms. It offers catering for various occasions, such as business luncheons, company meetings, picnics, weddings, showers, and class and family reunions,. Rotolo's Pizza also provides breadsticks, cheese sticks, potato wedges, and garlic and cheese breads. The restaurant additionally serves meatballs and homemade spaghetti and lasagnas. You can officially add Rotolo's Pizza to the ever-expanding list of food institutions in Columbus that have turned on their loyal customers and sold us down the corporate-restaurant river. Like Donato's Pizza, Bob Evans Restaurants and W.G. Grinders before them, Rotolo's has decided that more locations with higher prices, lower quality and minimal service are the best way to reward customers who helped drive their success for over 30 years. I have been going to Rotolo's for the last 20 years and my most recent visit has confirmed my worst fears. The friendly service, homemade taste, and commitment to quality have been replaced with a corporate identity, a clueless, non-family member staff, and higher priced - inferior quality pizza. It is a sad day along West Fifth Avenue, indeed, but should I really be surprised anymore? Some people just can't wait to sell out these days - just ask Jim Grote. I attempted to complain at the company's corporate website, but strangely, no e-mail address is available to contact ownership or management. I guess the Rotolo family is now too busy to be bothered with things like loyalty and customer satisfaction...R.I.P. Rotolo's - We'll miss you!

We always order from the Worthington location and have never been disappointed. Wonderful pizza every time! Always fresh ingredients and always ready or delivered on time. One of the top two pizza joints in Columbus!

The pasta, and roll were just average. The pizza itself was ok. It was very raw tasting in the middle. They almost put too much sauce so that the pizza doesn't cook properly. On the very first slice literally all the cheese and toppings fell off. They do however give you a decent amount to feed at least 3.

This is by far the worst meal I've had in at least a year. I ordered take-out. Although it was not busy, it took them 30 minutes to get me my order after being told it would only take five. I ordered the spaghetti which was undercooked and slathered in the worst sauce I've ever tasted. A note: heavy salt does not make up for lack in taste! The mushrooms in the sauce were chewy and tasteless. The order came with two rolls, one of which was so stale I couldn't eat it!

Order carry out for myself and my two sons. I had the lasagna. The boys had the Italian subs. The lasagna, by far was the worst lasagna. I have ever had. The bottom noodles were overcooked. The sauce was unforgettable bad. By two sons did not like the Italian subs. We suggest if you?re looking for good Italian Ratolo?s is not the place to go.

Since relocating from the northern part of the state, I've yet to find a great pizza joint. This one, like all the other local Columbus favorites, features flat, flaky pastry crust. Very boring. What is this town's obsession with cutting round pizzas into square slices?? It's round because it is a pizza PIE. Cut it like one!

You've got to be kidding!!! The best pizza is NOT at Rotolo's!!! Sure the claim to fame is FAMILY RECiPES and family owned but like all mom and pop shops that expand they tend to sacrifice quality and service for the almighty DOLLAR.You want a great tasting pizza that is consisent throughout all it's locations then go to DONATOS!! \r AS Rotolo's grows the product becomes less consisent and the staff more robotic.

I've been going to Rotollos for the past 32 years. In all that time, I have never once been disappointed in their food. The pizza toppings are piled on, and the sauce - the secret to a great pizza - is out of this world. Many of our friends have turned into fanatics after tasting this delectable pizza. The little Italian family that owns and operates the restaurants are warm and friendly, and remember their regular customers by name - makes you feel that they really appreciate your business. We have friends who are missionaries in South Africa, and the first thing they do when they are home for a visit, is to head for Rotollos for their irresistable, unforgetable pizza.

Ok so i do work at a couple of the locations and i am slightly biased towards the place but i have had just about every pizza in this entire state and nothing compares to the amazing taste that this pizza delivers. yes, i know that weekends can be crazy but definitely bear with us, i know heart and soul is put into the food at all 5 locations (yes 5 locations with one just opening on Hamilton road right off 161 east and little turtle). i have worked there for almost two years and i have never met ppl who care more about their product. all the Rotolos are amazing ppl, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is superb! subs are awesome too! dine in is sure to come in soon, i have heard it around the store. the ppl who gave the store bad reviews have prolly only had it once and that is a shame that their visit and pie was not the best it could have been, but they should really try it more than once. goodness knows i have waited a long time at plenty other pizza places before and their pies were sub par, but that does not mean i shun it after one time. take my word for it, biased or not, this pizza is amazing and will continue to be amazing whether they stay with these 5 stores or become a chain. thank you for your time

NOT ONLY THE BEST IN COLUMBUS BUT ROTOLO'S MAY BE THE BEST PIZZA I'VE HAD. EVERY CITY I TRAVEL TO I MAKE A POINT TO TRY IT'S PIZZA. ROTOLO'S BLEW ME AWAY. IT'S TASTE IS SO AUTHENTIC IT'S ALMOST UNEXPLAINABLE. ROTOLO'S IS UNDENIABLY ONE OF THE BEST PIES I'VE EVER HAD. YOUR LASAGNA IS DAMN GOOD TOO! KEEP IT UP!

Quite possibly, the best pizza in Columbus. The perfect combonation of crust, sauce, and toppings. Everything is freash and flarvorful. And dont look for a PaPa Johns pizza here...the topopings are piled high, including the cheese. You need two hands to carry this heavy pie.

Still good, but not what it used to be

I grew up in Grandview enjoying Rotolo's pizza since the early 80's. Until within the past several years, I'd swear it was the best with a perfected pizza everytime. Ever since the frozen pizza line/additional shops opened, it seems perhaps the quality has suffered. Inconsistancy is a problem. You never know what you'll get. Sometimes you'll say it was good, other times you'll be disappointed. The disappointment being why can't I get one like they used to make them? Like the days when the Rotolo family would all be working hard on a Friday night. Go to the Rotolo's website and look at the picture with Papa Rotolo holding open the oven door with a pizza pie in it. That's the Rotolo's pizza I remember. You just can't get 'em like they used to be:others agree. Still my favorite, but instead of going there exclusively, I now experiment locally.

This is awesome pizza! I have tried so many other pizzas in town and in other cities and Rotolo's pizza is simply the best. Honestly a lot of other pizzas in columbus taste like school cafeteria pizza. The cheese has a delicious smoked taste to it and the sauce is perfect, not too bitey, very smooth. The crust is right in the middle but if you want it thicker or thinner just ask and they'll do it for you. Love the face lift on the Grandview store! Very authentic! By the way, thanks for finally delivering!! I get it twice as much now. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Recently enjoyed a Rotolo's pizza with an out of town guest. Thoroughly impressed with the sausage- it wasn't the usual mainstream crap I'm used to. Salad was good too, but the company was even better. Love this place for the lack of frills, definite small town vibe. Thought it was cool that the pizza cooks were watchin baseball on TV when we came to pick it up and our pizza was still piping hot.

Terrible service. promised pizza in 45 minutes, got it in 75 minutes. Totally unorganized place with no semblance of order- the cashier couldnt even make change !! When I got it, it was cold. The doughy crust wasnt done. I was really disappointed. Looks like it has gone down over the years. Wake up Dom Rotolo, this place is not good. Better pizza isnt tough to find.
