I love a lot of things about this spa including the convenient Arena District location. Parking is convenient, usually right outside the door at the meters. I have always gotten great manicures and pedicures there. I especially love the hot stone massage. My family and friends have gotten me gift cards for the spa for my birthdays, as they know how much I love it!
I came across a few negative reviews of this business in my search for a day spa, but most of them were rather old. I went ahead and gave Nicci Debro's Day Spa (in the Arena District, Columbus, Ohio) a try and am glad I did...

My girlfriend and I had a 90-minute Swedish couples massage and couldn't have had a more perfect experience.
Every staff member was extremely courteous and caring from beginning to end. The facility itself was professional, clean and relaxing. Our appointment was at 2:30pm on a Thursday and we had zero wait (many reviews complain about a wait time, but we did not see this at all). Ke'sha and Charmaine worked magic on us, and I walked out of the massage room on cloud nine.

The only downside to this experience was that I fell asleep for a few minutes during the foot massage. Even though I walked in wide awake, I couldn't fight how good it felt. Somehow, I doubt I'm the first person to have that happen!

A+, all the way around.
I'd hardly call this a spa. I had been looking forward to a 90-minute deep tissue sports massage all week because I had just ran a half-marathon and I should have known something was wrong from the start. When I walked in I was nicely greeted but they didn't know what service I was in for nor the length of it. I arrived 15-20 minutes early to complete paperwork and to get changed into a robe and get relaxed but that was not offered.\r
\r
After about ten minutes in the noisy lobby I was put in the ""relaxation room"" and was told they were running a bit behind (usually not a big deal as I understand this can happen). This room was made up up dingy furniture and it was hardly relaxing. Through an attached door I could hear employees laughing and talking and cell phones constantly ringing in the next room. As time ticked on an employee kept coming in and telling me that they were running behind and that I should be soon. At one point, she even offered me a complimentary manicure and pedicure for my wait. I was still fine at this point and the appointment was only running about 15-20 minutes behind.\r
\r
Her final visit she told me that I'd be getting my massage finally and someone would be right in. Unfortunately this did not happen. I waited another 10 minutes (30 minutes behind schedule for my appointment time and 45 minutes total time there) and nothing happened. I finally went to the front desk and told them I could not wait any longer.\r
\r
This was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Who knows how long I would have waited and all I can say is that my time is worth more than a complimentary manicure and pedicure. Bottom line is that I have visited many spas and went to this one out of convenience (I live in the Short North/Arena District) and expected much more out of it. If you want a noisy atmosphere with dingy furniture than this is your place, I'll stick to the real spas I have gone to in the past for my relaxation. \r
I attended our company spa party at Nicci Debro's Spa. I have never been to a spa party like this. I had the ND Body Treatment, they say that it is nicci's signature treatment. I didnt want to leave the room. My therapist had to ask me twice if i was ready for my next service. My hairstylist washed my hair with aloe and gave me a hand and arm massage while I was getting a conditioning treatment. The attention to detail was amazing. The staff constantly asked if we were comfortable and if we needed any thing. \r
\r
Even though our company paid for our services. At the end I pulled out my wallet and bought Gift Certificates for 5 of my friends so that we can have our own spa party. \r
\r
thanks to the esthetician the products that she recommended has made my skin look alot better. \r
\r
I cannot wait until my girlfriends experience what I experienced.\r
Kudos...to the Nicci Debro Spa. I was a recent guest and I have to say I absolutely loved, loved, loved the experience. The staff was professional. The services were lavish from start to finish. They have mastered Customer Service! After all everyone deserves to be pampered and that is exactly what I received. The luxe life made affordable. Job well done! Brava Ladies!!!
I have very long, thick, natural hair and Lisa Keys does a fantastic job! I love the treatment when I arrive, everyone is very sweet, professional and accommodating. I get one-on-one attention. I can't speak highly enough of the spa!\r
Untrained Staff. Very expensive. Zero value. Worst ""spa"" in Columbus. AVOID like the plague! \r
\r
The ONLY positives are that the location is in the Arena District and that clients are assigned to the same person for hair and nails. Otherwise, it would get a ZERO-star rating.\r
\r
THE FIRST VISIT: The haircut was OK, but the stylist who assisted me SLICED the tip of my finger with an emory board. I was bleeding. When she did my hair, she was constantly sending and receiving text messages on her phone. What poor, poor customer service.\r
\r
THE SECOND VISIT: I thought I'd give it a second chance. After all, the location was convenient. All of it was as simply awful. I had the same stylist as the previous visit. But, AGAIN, she was constantly texting on her phone when she was supposed to be working on my hair. I had this terrible feeling that she was RUSHING because they couldn't wait to get me out of there. Because of the SLOPPY work, my hair now has thick and thin strands of light blond and brassy highlights. I also asked for swooping bangs and now they are so short that they stand up on their own. I must wear a headband everywhere I go now. When she did my nails, she CUT my fingertip with the emory board AGAIN. \r
\r
HERE IS THE WORST PART: I had my brows waxed and shaped. The area where she waxed became red, covered in bumps, irritated and INFECTED for three days. That has never happend to me before...ever!\r
\r
The only time I felt that someone was being attentive to me was when the owner took my money when I checked out. I will never, ever, ever go there again, even if it's free or discounted. It's just plain AWFUL and unprofessional.
I have never been to a spa where the attention to every single detail has been so significant. This spa truly makes your experience so worthwhile. It's the extra mile and attention to service that makes this spa the BEST in COLUMBUS. I would highly reccommend this experience to anyone who wants to feel like a million bucks!
