I love this place. Dr. Rich is so caring, giving and experienced. Also two of the front staff, Kim and Barb, operate rescues outside of work, and many of the staff volunteer their services, as do the vets.

I am so happy the way this great hospital received me. The very first time I came here they showed love and care and excellent relationship with their customers. Very friendly environment and helpful. Love this place, homely environment.

Most knowledgeable staff. Our dog has an anatomical abnormality and the staff at the hospital was able to diagnose the issue with accuracy and experience beyond any vet we have visited so far.

Excellent care for our 4 legged family members. Thanks for your years of great service.

They think PET care first, and then the bill. You just don't get that too often these days and especially in this economy. I am very impressed with their staff, their owners, and management. I know first hand that they will do whatever they can to help people and pets.

We've taken our dogs and cats here for a while. They're very helpful, friendly and they won't bankrupt you either!

I would definitely recommend Gahanna Animal Hospital for serious pet owners who think of their pets as family especially if you want the best care for your pet. ""Caring for your pets is what we do"" they mean it! Thank you GAH!

This place has taken excellent care of both my dogs. I recently lost my dog of 14 years and they couldn't have handled my situation more perfectly. I came in the morning and they took my dog from me and let me grieve. This was a very hard time for me, but they remained professional, discrete, and sensitive to my needs. With my other dog they opened up early for me and took him in immediately because of the serious condition he was in. Through out the day they monitored my dog and the vet called me 3 times to keep me updated on my baby. They sent me home with him that night with techniques on how to make my dog more comfortable. This place is absolutely wonderful and I will always be in debt to them. They are life savers and they did a terrific job with both of my incidents.
I've had nothing but the best experiences with Gahanna Animal Hospital and their staff. I really enjoy having everything my pet could ever need under one roof. I'm treated like a friend every time i walk through the door.

Do NOT take your pet here! It took the incompetant vets here 4 visits to properly diagnose my dog and then still used the wrong medicine to treat the problem. We saw 3 of their vets for the same problem. I had to spend hundreds of $$ @ OSU to get the illness to resolve but my dog is left with permanent damage b/c of the delay in proper treatment! OSU treated my dog with a totally different medicine. When I confronted the ""doctors"" about the mis-diagnosis/improper treatment I was told to 'call them when I get my DVM degree!' The owner vet called me numerous times at odd hours of the night to argue with me. . . he did not care about my dog but only about defending himself & his employee vets. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a facility or ""doctors.""

This place should be shut down. To have black bugs crawling around and getting on myself and my dog is bad. But staring at blood on the floors and walls while you wait is terrible. The charge high price so they should be able to pay someone off the street to clean or hire an externinator for all the bugs. \r Do yourself a big favor and go down the road to Stelzer Road. They have a clean facility with people that communicate well and dont overcharge. I am truly sorry I took my animals to these people. I hope the city does something about those poor animals in those conditions!

My cocker spaniel spent a miserible 2 weeks and finally passed under their care. The doctors and staff were absolutly horrific! What should have been a routine procedure turned into a sad and slow death for Sam. They performed procedures that were not discussed or approved. Please do not take your loved one here. I wish I could sue them or something. I dont know what to do. I just can't believe this all happened.

If you have a small dog DO NOT board here. I boarded my dog, they took him out to the outside run, he got loose from his lead and he got out! Their fence is not equipped for smaller dogs. My dog was lost for almost 5 days. The people there did help me search my dog, which is why I gave them 2 stars, but needless to say I will never board there again.

I brought my sick cat to Gahanna Animal Hospital and from the start they were very understanding and explained everything that was happening. They put their expert knowledge into play and were so helpful! My poor cat ended up passing away which was very difficult for me because he and I went through everything together for the past 4 years. I had to make a tough decision on what happened to him after the fact and I was kind of sad because I really would have no memory of him besides a couple of pictures I had. Later, I received a card from the doctor that took care of him with a little paper tucked away inside. I opened the paper and on it was a little prayer and my cat's paw print and the name signed. I was drawn to tears because now I had something that I could keep forever. If I were to adopt another animal and needed vet services, no matter where I resided I would take my pet to Gahanna Animal Hospital!!

When my dog was taken into this hospital for a dental problem, it turned out to be a little more. The doctors were compassionate and worked hard to make my ""baby "" comfortable and solve the difficulty quickly. Dr. Harkins and others explained each step of the way.The followup care and communication was excellent.

We had a very disappointing experience with another vet. Therefore, brought our dog to Gahanna Animal Hospital for a second opinion. They were caring and honets and definitely had the best interest of our dog in mind. Highly recommended.

I have two furry children and this hospital treats them kindly even if they are totally spoiled and pampered. No judgment calls on how they should be treated like d o g s. Wonderful business, easy to get appointment and fair prices.
