This place is the type of breakfast I've always looked for and now, have found it. I order the chickichanga every time I go to this place and I've never been disappointed. Its Whipped eggs with spicy chicken, homemade chorizo, green chiles, onion, avocado rolled in a crispy flour tortilla and topped with Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream. The service is always very friendly and very fast. Dining time never goes over 30min during the week or an hour on sunday(their busiest day). First watch is a breakfast place with a southwest/mexican twist to breakfast--there are many dishes with salsa, avacado, sour cream, etc.

Relatively average breakfast (the home fries are terrible -- I think microwaved -- either mushy or extremely burning hot), but menu variety may appeal to families. Nice and comfortable store interior and facilities. National chainstore concept -- stores maintain same standards and offerings wherever I've experienced (thus same ratings).

I checked the nutrional information on their website and was shocked to learn that most sandwich plates are upwards of 800+ calories and average about 72 grams of fat. Even their salads have upwards of 60 grams of fat. Keep to the ""healthy"" column of the menu if you want to eat low-fat/low-cal.

Several visits to this bright and cheerful breakfast spot have proved that the enthusiastic service and great food is a consistent product. The omelets, pancakes, muffins and wraps are all well worth a try. The coffee is several giant steps above average and is available in a carafe if you arrive during a rush and are forced to wait a bit. Where does this restaurant find such charming and energetic staff?

Without a doubt, First Watch is the best place to get breakfast in Columbus. You have to watch out because the crowds get huge on the weekends, but the food and service is well worth the wait.

I really enjoy Firstwatch, every time I have ate there my food has been very good. The only thing I do not like is the wait. It can be long at times, but it is well worth it.

Great management culture, focused on the ""core"" service - early eating - and home with the family in the evening. Great service and selection for ""eggs""

This restaurant is what my newly retired father needs. Too bad he lives out of town, nowhere near a First Watch franchise. New & different takes on the old & not so old breakfast favorites! Or try any of the magnificant salads, which I DO eat for breakfast. Unfortunatly there is almost always a constant wait for a table, but I do think it is worth it.

I've heard about this place a bunch so I decided to try it out. The first time I was very disappointed with the food -- nothing special. The second time I went the food was overcooked and cold and the service was less than stellar. I wouldn't go back for a third time.

Nowhere in columbus do I feel like having a nice sunday brunch than here (Upper Arlington site, I haven't been to other ones). Environment is wide open, and decor's color is even better than before after the renovation to provide the ""relaxed, down to earth, yet classic"" feeling. Staff are extremly friendly, the welcome feeling is felt throughout from the point of walking in to walking out. Just go and try it, you'll like it.

Was intorduced to this restaurant three years ago and have made this my first choice for a brunch destination over any high priced, upscale restaurant every time. A great feature to this cozy cafe is that coffee and newspapers are provided while you wait to be seated and when your seated, the water pitchers and coffee are there on the table the entire length of stay, so you do not have to wait for your server to refill them.

Unique for this area. Reminds me of Florida. Good place to take friends.

First Watch serves the best breakfast in town -- if you don't mind waiting.

Already too popular and crowded, but the food is great and the service consistantly good. One of the only places to get crepes in Columbus. They still give you pitchers of ice water/ coffee/tea at your table a super plus for me!!

Great menu offering wide but traditional variety of breakfast items. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, fruit, sausage, etc... in many different styles. Top notch breakfast food but First Watch can get crowded on weekends. Get there early to avoid the wait.

Friend and I went to Avery location once, and was ignored by host, who immediately acknowledged an apparent regular walking in after us. Maybe the host has no experience with non-Caucasian customers? High street location's service was great---went there twice. Have tried fresh fruit crepes and crepeggs so far--fresh ingredients and tasty! My favorite thing--they leave a jug of water at your table so you can refill water yourself!

fast and good service is a trademark of sorts for this place. the food is always fresh and hot when it hits the table. coffee is so so, but you cant have everything.

First Watch provides a diverse and different menu listing of great breakfast choices. A favorite of mine is the French Toast with wheat germ. Its a clean restaurant in a lovely part of Columbus.

not that I WANTED to waitress! Great food & good prices are marred by horrendus service. I've gone to the Dublin location off Avery several times & the location adjacent to the Worthington Mall; and every time the service has been HORRID! I mean, I know the place gets busy - I waitressed for 6 yrs - I understand! But that's no excuse for poor training, poor customer service & poor image. I suggest ordering carry out.
