Success! Thanks for posting your review of Boma. You’ve done the world some good today.

BoMA is now The Bluestone. Sam...

BoMA is now The Bluestone. Same amazing venue structurally; much classier service, staff and events. They are no longer open on a daily basis as a bar and restaurant but now only specialize in public and private events. Events range from high profile national recording artist concerts and lavish weddings to smaller, intimate coorporate events and rehersal dinners. It is a beautiful facility with top quality AV system... view more

BOMA is no more. And good for that. However, the same beautiful building is now open under the name The Bluestone. I recently bought tickets online for a concert for an up and coming band that my 20 year old son likes and did not realize in doing so, that I was buying tickets to the venue that was once called BOMA. We went to the show and not only were the headlining and opening bands impressive (mainly according to ... view more

Boma suddenly turned ghetto...

Boma should change its name to BOGA for suddenly going from Bar of Modern Art to ""Bar of Ghetto Art"". Honestly, they advertise on Power 107, which is a ghetto hip hop and rap station. The people who listen to this include ghetto trash, drug dealers and the occasional preppy white person who think's he's a drug dealer (or may only be a petty college drug dealer) and their ""hoes"". There is nothing good about... view more

I would Pass !!

Boma use to be a really fun place to go. We went there in April for a friends Birthday her and I had several shots when we first walked in the door and about a half hr later we didnt even have a buzz so we just kept doing more & more shots. I would say we prob. done close to 15shots a peice and when we left that night we were walking straight . Which means they were not putting much liquer in are shots and the shots ... view more

Don't waste your time!

I have been to many bars and restaurants in the Columbus area and I have to say I was very disappointed with BOMA. The food and drinks were overpriced for what we got and the drinks barely had alcohol, even the ""martinis"". We also waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive after ordering. Don't waste your time on this bar when there are so many other great places to try in Columbus!

Not as Advertised

I've read reviews on here and in local publications that likened BOMA to clubs in Miami. I'm from Miami, and I can assure you that BOMA is nowhere near the clubs on Washington and Lincoln in Miami Beach (not to mention the warehouse district!). BOMA falls WAY short of what Miami has to offer. That aside, BOMA pretends to be a lot of things they're not. They have a red velvet rope and a doorman with a clipboard, but t... view more

rude and undeservedly pretentious

This place is an embarrassment for Columbus. For the general public and especially the art community. Any artist who shows here or patronizes this venue, that makes a mockery of gallery culture, should be ashamed. Trend-chasers and wannabe hipsters, please proceed to the generic velvet rope and befriend the pompous blowhard working the door. You'll feel dirty, but comfortable. Boma will be miserable to any self-... view more

Nothing but good things

Exceptional in every aspect, food, dancing, drinks. I think a few people here just had a bad experience. Bartenders are friendly (and good-looking), drinks are strong and reasonably priced, I've always had a great time here. Make sure you check out the white-leather room (think they call it the Great Room, and aptly so), and the view of the dancing from the balcony.
