The Best Greek Food!

I love Anna's restaurant. You really can't get a bad meal there. They have a great assortment of wines and the staff is very attentive. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that if you order to go, the portions are very skimpy and the quality isn't what it is in the store. I love the Sunday Buffet and will keep going back. The area around the kitchen needs desperately updated and de-cluttered.

My wife and I joined our daughter and a friend of hers who had been there before. Our first visit was delightful. The decor is ""cute""; Greek ""scenery"" everywhere, and the food is top notch. I tried the cabbage rolls which is a family favorite and has always been made with a tomato sauce base. But these were in a lemon based sauce and were absolutely wonderful. Also highly regarded was the chicken lemonatta and the stuffed peppers. The lemon potatoes, as a side dish on all the plates were the talk of the table. The desserts looked great and even though we were pretty full, I convinced the table to try one we could share. We decided to try a pineapple dessert on phyllo dough with a cream topping with almonds (wish i could remember what it was called). It was also excellent and went very well with freshly brewed and flavorful decaf coffee. Portions were large but not overly so. You could definitely share an entree if you are a light eater, especially if you had an appetizer or dessert to go with your entree. Service was prompt and attentive. Water and iced tea never went unfilled. Our bill was $80 for 4 without tip and included 4 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 1 dessert and 4 beverages. Not bad for a meal this good. We will be back and we highly recommend it to others.

everytime I am back in Columbus Anna's is a must. There are a few things that I miss where I live now and REAL Greek is one of them. Granted the service is not four star, but neither are the prices. The Anna's Combo is an especially good value with enough food for two. Anna herself is often in the restaurant (the very vivacious grandmotherly type) and is extremely friendly. She often hires real greeks whose english or serving skills might not be perfect but who are very kind and work hard. Great for either a sit down lunch or take out for dinner. Try the great Tzatiki!

Feels like home

My family's Greek, and whenever everyone's in Columbus, we make a point of going to Anna's. The food is great, the staff is so friendly, and they have always been incredibly accomodating to large groups or special requests (vegetarian, altering dishes, planning ahead, etc...).

bad feeling

There is a bad feeling in that restaurtant. Not to mention the waitress was rather mean. Not to mention she brought one person the entree, another person a salad and yet another an appetizer and ALL AT THE SAME TIME. The food is so-so - actually kind of boring. Nothing like what I expected after reading these last two reviews. I won't be going there again. Actually, it sucked. Especially the FEELING in there.

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. My son had been in Greece when in the navy. He fell in love with the food and says this is the closest he has found to being back there.
