I have been a member since I was an infant and was baptized her. Shiloh is a loving, caring, and the fellowship is personalable. Shiloh welcomes all who wants to know the Lord. We have many auxiliaries you can become apart of. The services are not long and the church is 140 years old and we are grateful for the ministries we have to help those in need. My family has been apart of Shiloh since the beginning. They have help build it from the basement up. I remember my grandmother telling me they use to have service in the basement before the santcuary was built. Fundraisers, bazaars, carnivals, bake sales, feeding and clothing the homeless. These are some of the things that Shiloh has done for the community. So come and fellowship with us. Sunday service 10:30 am.
Anchor Baptist is a wonderful church. When they say they're not like most churches they mean it in a good way. They're a good ol'fashion baptist church full of amazing people. The pastor is wonderful and doesn't cut corners, he gets straight to the point and does a good job at it. I read the review saying that someone was upset because they're grandchild got baptized without their permission. Well children cannot get baptized unless the parent of guardian signs off on it meaning that the permission slip was signed. There was obviously a misunderstanding, but that's no reason to give the church a one star. If you give the church a chance you'll see how great it is and I promise you won't be disappointed.
Wow! Super friendly and inviting church. It was a nice change to be able to attend a church in a relaxed environment. Great music and special events. The children's ministry was probably one of the best I've seen in a long time. They really involve the kids with activities. Highly recommend this church if you are on the fence on whether or not to attend church for the first time. You won't be disappointed or intimidated. They will make you feel welcome.
