Bride and Groom: House Of Tux

We have used them twice for tuxes only for both our son and daughter's wedding. They are the only convenient tux rental facility in the area. For our son's wedding, his dad was also his best man. Dad's tux jacket and vest was approximately 2 sizes too small. We were told there was nothing they could do by the starkville location. For our daughter's wedding, they sent different shirts for different groomsmen so they didnt match... Hope I don't need tuxes again if this is our only option....

After having a bad experience at another business, I visited the Columbus location to find my wedding dress. I've been really indecisive about my dress, and I needed 3 appointments before I found the one that I ended up ordering. The consultants were friendly and patient, and they genuinely seemed to care about my wedding. The dresses are gorgeous, and I was easily able to find lots of options within my budget. They also let you take pictures of the dresses (which some boutiques don't allow), and they even helped me Skype in my family across the country. My dress came in ahead of schedule, and I wasn't pressured into ordering larger than my size to increase the cost of alterations. Overall, I've had a great experience!

My wife and I used this business to rent the tuxedos for our wedding in November of 2014. We also only went to the Starkville campus, they are the same business though. The first sign that this was going to be a bad experience was evident as soon as we walked in the door. The lady behind the desk greeted me and my soon to be wife with some sort of gutteral sound instead of asking how she could help us. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but if she was having that bad of a day she should have gone home. Next my pants looked terrible. Easily 3 inches too long plus the hem could be seen a mile away. I asked about it and the lady rudely replied "pull them up". So finally we got the tux and went to the rehersal dinner and everyone told the same stories about how bad the service was. My best man even had the wrong colored tie. When he asked for the right one the lady behind the desk pitched a fit and said it wasn't possible to get another tie from the warehouse which it 20 minutes away. On to the wedding day. When we were taking pictures buttons started falling off these cheap overused tuxes left and right. My best man lost 2 out of three buttons taking pictures. I lost one as well just taking pictures standing still. Finally we contacted the business about the terrible service and tuxes. They responded by giving us a whopping $25 gift card to their shop to rent a tux after we had spent at least a thousand on their "services". It may have been genuine, but it felt like nothing more than a slap in the face.



Avoid this business if you can. I am a huge supporter of local business, but this one deserves none.
