Within a day of having my oil changed, my truck threw a rod due to low oil pressure. The staff on site denied it was a thrown rod and maintained that "something went through" the valve cover. They also said the truck was safe to drive across town. Upon learning the whole story from my mechanic, the store and district manager have played ping pong withy calls. Goodyear on Clemson = Good reason to keep on drivin' up to Firestone.

My experience is STAY AWAY from using this Goodyear location. I had a cooling system inspection, pressure test, and fill on a used vehicle I just purchased. We were told all was good prior to a trip from SC to GA. I found out entirely by chance that the radiator was leaking and the container was completely empty weeks later so I took it to a Goodyear in GA where they immediately saw it was rotted out on both sides. I called the manager at this store who argued it was okay (so the rot must have happened immediately after leaving???). I said I would call corporate and give negative ratings and he did not care. Fortunately corporate looked into it and said they will send out a check to reimburse that service. Amazing I had to spend my time arguing with a manager and calling customer service for such an obvious blatant failure to inspect the system after paying 89.95.
