        Happy Sprouts Learning Center is a center-based day care that provides safe, competent and child-centered childcare services for children from 2 years old through School-Age. Our philosophy is that children need to be loved, nurtured and feel safe in order to learn. Our primary goals is to help foster hope in children and to increase their curiosity, a vital aspect for learning, as well as to help them learn autonomy and self-help skills. Our program offers a stimulating Maryland Department of Education – approved curriculum that provides age-appropriate cognitive, social-emotional, physical and creative activities to help your child develop positive self-esteem. The curriculum offers project-based learning in the areas of science, math, literacy, and social studies which provides your child a foundation for Kindergarten and school readiness. Other components of the program include learning Spanish language during the academic year, the importance of physical activity, music and the arts. Every Spring, the children practice and perform in a spring musical play with much enthusiasm. The Center also offers Before & After Care during the academic year. Children are provided nutritious snacks as well as breakfast and lunch throughout the year.

        I was really impressed with their Spring Musical Play! My niece is 3 years old and I attended the play in June.It was a big production and very entertaining! The children were all dressed as flowers and veggies in some very cute costumes and they seemed to love participating! It was obvious the children loved being there and that the teachers loved them! The owner provided a homemade dinner and refreshments, was very welcoming to me and said several times that she was glad I came. It was obvious my niece was in a very warm and caring place that seemed like a family! I'm happy for my sister that her daughter is in such a great place and is happy with it. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a small day care.
