Overall

Horrible apartment complex with equally as bad owners who do not care about the residents. They are MAKING my mother leave & she doesn't talk to our bother absolutely anyone. She is disabled & very sick, but they do not care...They are inhumane to kick my mother out when she has done nothing to deserve this type of treatment. My mother recently fell on one of the huge chunks of ice that they do not clear fully. We told the office & two days later they still had not cleared the ice up. The the so called crappy management just have attitude & told us basically that they did not care that my mother fell on ice & they weren't cleaning it because all the residents were important...so they just ended up letting the ice melt instead of at least putting sand on it. Please reconsider if you are looking to move here. They are making visual improvements, but the owners / management will remain the same.

By far, this is the worst complex I've lived in since I began renting in the Springs. Any reviews dated before June 2014 have been about the old management. Which was disorganized, incompetent and inefficient in their maintenance and business practices, but the new management, JRK Regional Goup, is worse in a different way. This review is about the way the new management handled the transition and care of its tenants from the old management to the new. First, everyone was told that any an all reports, maintenance requests and complaints under the old management are "gone" and they have no access to them. This made my situation worse in that I've been asking for repairs on my cracked and torn bedroom ceiling SINCE I MOVED IN in September 2013. Second, the recent rain storms have made it worse and we asked for repairs 3 weeks ago. When we went in again today, the regional manager said they had no record of it and that they are considering this the first request. We consider our apartment uninhabitable as the ceiling is literally tearing apart, we have to use bowls to catch the leaks. The regional manager said that without documentation that we've reported this earlier they had no obligation to release us one month early from our lease. So the old requests are "gone" and our last request was taken down on a post it note and it's our fault there is no record of requests? Even if they do properly record a request, like they did with our AC, they actually closed the ticket before it was fixed. We have a lawyer looking into our lease and situation. JRK Regional Group apparently doesn't care about keeping good tenants. Word to the wise, if there is really no other place to live in the entirety of Colorado Springs and you are forces against your will to sign a lease, I recommend having a notebook you get signatures of all interactions with these people. Their upfront and pleasant demeanor seems genuine at first, but they are quick to tell you you're to blame for their lack of organization. The worse part was the regional manager mowed us over in the conversation and would not listen to our case. She made us sound petty and whiny about our concerns. "I can't believe that one natural storm would make you change your mind!" No, one agonizing year of miserable living did. And a snarky, dominating, flippant tone from the regional manager doesn't help either. We were told that all of our issues was our fault and not theirs or they simply pass it off by saying that all our problems are under the old management. I'm looking forward to turning in my key. They did not handle the transition well, nor did I feel they actually want to keep tenants like us who have paid on time, kept all the rules, and made an effort to have a good relationship with the management. In addition to all that, the apartments are at best mediocre, outdated, and generic. Go elsewhere. Again, JRK Regional Group does not care about keeping good tenants.

for almost 1 year now, Ive been tying to get my remainder of my rent. In other words. On my last month of the lease. It ended on Oct 9th. I paid for a full month $699 because I was told that I would get the rest back when I moved out. Im trying to be polite and very level in my emails and fax to them and they are going completely ignored.... This is only the the tip of the iceberg, of my problems with these folks, living here has been a nightmare and very costly. They towed my car because my tags were expired. They posted a red note on the window at 9am and it was towed at noon. When my wife pointed out that the lease states they have to give a 24 hour noticed, the quickly falsified another document and said they put a sticker on my car a week before which is a complete lie! i can go on and on about other things, but just read other comments below and you will see...

They definitely earned their 1 star rating!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I got lied to about charges to my account. Which resulted to many more charges that accumulated without my knowing. Then went through the go around with 5 people not returning my calls. Got scolded by a person that came up behind me (I have no clue who he was). And they sent me a complaint about the noise in my apartment when I WAS NOT EVEN HOME THAT WHOLE WEEK. in fact I only come home to shower and change and then I'm back out! There is NEVER any parking. And the most frustrating part is EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS BROKEN. I have been waiting for 3 months for someone to come fix my dryer. When I recently called they said they have no work orders for that "would you like for us to send someone to fix it"..... YES I HAVE CALLED LIKE 100 TIMES!!!!!!!

DONT MOVE THERE! Worst customer service, they go through staff quickly and make many mistakes with paperwork that costs the residents time, money, stress and extra work. The resident management system (property owners) are useless. I have called numerous times and they do nothing for getting any maintenance completed. Horrible place.

I am so scared I need a home d...

I am so scared I need a home disabled,my hubby passed away and embaressing sect 8 since he passed i lived here for 7 yrs in meadow pk (another story) have good credit, that took me a long time to get, I cant seem to trust as where to move, and i am a nice lady..lol really, god i am so so scared, my caregiver lives there thats why i was thinking of moving to pinnacle, she just now moved in, I am limited in searching, anyone know where how I can get help as to where is safe etc. Up that way Pinnacle( i go out my door and I am lost). I appreciate the reviews but wish *i could find more reviews and of other complexes*, honestly Pinnacle is not for me, as i can see.

The Pinnacle Apartments will rip you off!!!! They up their rent every couple of months and charge yo ridiculous late fees when someone tells you one thing then someone else says another thing. I have paid the past two months in late fees and on top of that they charge you an additional $5 dollars a day. Everyone here is paying something different for rent, but that's another thing they won't tell you. Not, to mention when something needs to be repaired, they will take months or half a year to get anything done as requested. They don't think you pay enough for rent already. I pay$925/a month for a two bedromm 2 bath and my neighbor pays $875/a month and we have the exact same floor plan. WTF. And a guy named Terry is the owner of this property as well as others in this area as well as down south and has been taken to court numerous times for being a slumlord.

scam!!!!!!

I had went down to the pinnacle apartments to put in a application I can understand giving up a credit check fee but in order for them to even process the application you must give them the deposite on the apartment so I did well my credit did not pass so they should have just kept the credit check fee right? no they are scam artists they kept the deposite !!!!!!! please dont give these people your money refuse and tell them you will only pay credit check fee because they are frauders.
