KRDO TV is the ABC-affiliated station that serves the Colorado Springs, Colo., region. The station has been owned by the locally owned Pikes Peak Broadcasting Company since the station signed on. In 2006, Pikes Peak Broadcasting announced that it was selling KRDO TV, along with KRDO AM and KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, Colo., to News Press & Gazette. News Press will also manage KSKX FM, which is operated under a lease marketing agreement. Programming found on the station includes Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives and ABC News Nightline. KRDO TV offers local news programming throughout the day.
