Glass Doctor of Colorado Springs

contracted them to put mirrors on wall in weight room. they set a date and never showed or called. i called and set another date and they never showed or called. i canceled job and am waiting for my deposit of $300. looks like small claims court time if they won't return funds for work they would not do.

After dealing with this company for 2 years I'm finally going to say this company and whomever is managing this local office sucks! I cannot believe how unprofessional and unorganized the staff is. What they would normally charge me to get 3 windows fixed (around $185) if I brought the frames in myself..they wanted to charge me $514 because there shop is temporarily closed and they have to send a tech to my location, which is about a mile from their shop. REALLY?? I will never to business with them again and will never refer ANYONE not even my worst enemy!

I made an appt at Colorado Springs location on 11-14 to get my rear view mirror re attached on my Audi. They told me I would have to leave it for the day to let the glue set up. I brought it in that same day for the repair and Yvonne said that she would call that same day when it was finished. I finished work at 6 pm and by that time I never heard from them at all. My wife and I went out for dinner, she said lets drive by Glass Doctor and see if the car was left outside in their lot. Sure enough at 930 pm we pulled up and their set our car on the lot. I checked and they even left the door unlocked. I could not believe that they left a customers car outside especially in this neighborhood unlocked after closing at 930 pm. Luckily we had another key and just took the car from their lot. I stopped back the next morning to pick up my key they had. Justin apologized but at that point it was to late. This is one un organized company and I would not recommend doing business with them ever. They have no regard for a customers property.

Poor Workmanship and customer care.



I have used this company for a few years now. I drop off my windows and they replace the glass. Up until this year (2014). I dropped off 2 windows to be replaced on Monday and was told they would be ready Thursday. With a snow storm coming in I asked if they could be done any sooner as the windows were for one of my apartments and would be unsecure during the time they took to fix them. The secretary promised they would be ready by Thursday. Thursday came and they told me that they were busy and that they would be ready on Friday (1st broken promise). I came in on Friday at 2pm and was told they were not ready that they would be ready by 3pm (2ed broken promise). I arrived at 3:15pm and they showed me someone else's window. They then said they could finish them by 5pm. I arrive at 5pm and they tell me they will not charge me for one of the windows because it didn't come with a gasket. I asked are they not a professional window business and they said that they didn't have any gasket and it was free. The manager said I could put a bead of calk around the window. He should have offered to do that. I will not use this company ever again. They could have done the window the day I brought it in if they wanted to. The quality of the product was not up to what a professional window person would do. The customer care department was not organized and I hear the two girls talking about each other on different occasions. Maybe a little office politics going on and the management have no idea what is going on. Seriously, how could you mix up orders. Even worse is why wouldn't a company go out of its way to help out a customer. They did my windows in 2 hours or less. They could have completed the job in one day if they so desired to please the customer. Even if they had charged a bit more for one day service.

I had a transponder for the Colorado tollways in the car mounted on the windshield which disappeared during their work. When I called asking about it - I was told by their management they had done some 50 jobs since mine and had no idea where it was and thus it was my word against the installer as to the transponder even being in the car. Their customer service skills are very poor which leads me to believe if you ever needed warranty work done by Glass Americaa it may be very difficult. I rate them very high for the quality of work but very poor if on their customer service side.
