I've been very happy with my exams and surgery by Dr. Gessner and his staff. He's competent, thorough, and caring and takes the necessary time to explain procedures and options so that I can make the best decisions. When at first scheduling my surgery at Kissing Camels I was a bit leery as they had only been given a 2 1/2 star rating. But, I'd have to say they did a wonderful job caring for this needle phobic. My IV was inserted with the skill and compassion of the finest of nurses, and follow up care has ben exceptional. For the previous reviewer to have been so totally unhappy is probably the exception rather than the rule. When we sign surgery paperwork, it is known that Dr. G is a partner and that we have other options for our treatment. READ what you sign, I say. At any rate, thanks Dr. G for taking such good care of me. And for the record, I AM a real patient and just had surgery last week.

Get a second opinion before have Dr. Gessner perform surgery! He performed surgery on both of my feet and deformed my toes on each foot. I am so upset especially since I went to another Dr. who said I never needed either of the surgeries. I am so embarrassed for any one to see my feet! I can no longer wear normal shoes or sandles since one toe siticks up 1" above the others and the other foot has a second toe that is wrapped around the third toe. I was never told I would suffer these side effects. I had three surgeries at Kissing camels hospital only to find out that Dr Gessner owns part of it! No wonder he does surgeries that not necessary the only way to fix the problem. Bottom line Get a second opinion before letter Dr. Gessner operate on you!
