Carpet World & Floor Covering

We were looking for a waterproof floor to replace a white carpet on our main living area that looked more elegant than a utility floor but could withstand the messes caused by my passion for fostering Mill Dog Rescues. After consulting with 3 other Carpet Stores and getting estimates, we went to Donna. This lady is a treasure trove of information and without knowing the estimates of her competition, she saved us approx. $ 1000.- and still recommending the same material ! In Jan. 2017 we contracted for the first installation. Her team was first class, 2 very professional, helpful, friendly and super clean young men. We were very very satisfied. In Nov. 2017 we were ready to complete our plans, but this time we did not shop around, we went straight to Carpet World to contract with Donna and her crew again. And we were not disappointed: same great service, same installation team, same great price. I can recommend Carpet World 100% and with our next project we will see Donna again !

I contracted with Carpet World for carpet purchase and installation on two separate houses in early January 2017 after having received multiple quotes from other local carpet vendors. This was my first time ever purchasing carpet so I had some learning to do. I was extremely pleased with their services, from initial consultation all the way through post-installation follow-up, and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of new flooring. Following are the highlights from my experience:
Choosing a vendor:
- They were extremely responsive, not just when trying to get my business, but throughout the process. It was clear that I was a name and face and not just another customer number. Not once was I waiting on them to get back to me.
- I really appreciated being able to deal directly with the owners.
- They delivered the most competitive bid in terms of cost vs quality. What I really liked about their costing though is that it didn’t change. Other vendors had a floor price per square foot or yard and an associate would immediately mention that he/she could discount that and rattle off a number. Minutes later that number may change again. It seemed highly variable and very subjective. With Carpet World, for me, that didn’t happen. The price per square foot was competitive at the start and that was it. We negotiated discounts afterwards. To me, that just seemed more honest.
- They offer a military discount.
Scheduling:
- Responsive and accommodating. I had a tight timeline on one of the installations and they were able to meet that.
Installation:
- I saw two different crews during this process (one for each house). Both crews were on-time, clearly knew what they were doing, didn’t waste time, and were professional and courteous throughout the process.
- It was clear that they use the same crews again and again so they know the quality will be there. Before picking a vendor, I asked if they really knew their crews or just subcontracted them out. They responded with the names of the individuals on their crews and sure enough…those guys are the ones who accomplished my installation. So, you can have faith that you’re going to get quality and not the cheapest first-timer crew.
- I’m extremely particular…probably to a fault. These installations were done very, very well.
Billing:
- Very easy to work with. Billing shouldn’t be complex…with them it wasn’t.
- They broke down the price for me by what was being accomplished. X amount for carpet, Y amount for pad, Z amount for installation, etc. Some vendors don’t want to provide this for some reason. I like to see where every penny is going though and Carpet World provided the billing transparency to let me see that.
Overall:
- Top notch experience with Carpet World. I feel I received a fair deal and received a superior quality product for cheaper and with less hassle than I would’ve received elsewhere.
- Easy to work with.
- Would definitely recommend to anyone.

They are very easy to work with. Have what ever you want. Installation on time and complete. Moved furniture and put it back. Better prices for same carpet. Highly recommend for a pleasant carpet transaction. Go see them...you won't be disappointed! Just to deal with them is a good experience!

We purchased carpet and laminate flooring from Carpet-World. The initial visit and installation were painless, and the carpet and flooring look great! We got great flooring at a great price. I would definitely recommend these ladies to anyone looking for flooring.

We worked with Donna @ Carpet World to replace the carpet in our entire home in August of 2015. Donna was patient with our repeated visits to the store. We felt no pressure. It was a huge decision and we took our time, researching, looking at samples and asking lots of questions. They have a nice selection and a good store layout. I needed carpet for the whole house on short-notice, and after looking around was thankful to have found Donna at Carpet World. Pretty sure we shopped all over town for carpeting, and the sale prices at this local business were impressive. Including installation and removal, the prices were lower than the big national stores. We primarily worked with Donna and she was very patient and thorough when answering our questions. Our installers were very courteous and QUICK! I expected a six-hour installation with the size of our rooms but they were done in three. My only concern is the seam in the middle of our living room--the carpet was installed three months ago and it is still noticeable. Hoping that it will relax. If we have the need, we would use Carpet World again.

Danielle is a very skillful professional doing business with Carpet World. Working with her and her team was a gratifying experience. Her installers are efficient and courteous.

We had our Luxury Vinyl Tile installed throughout our ranch-style home and could not be more pleased with the experience! From being the lowest price - especially for installation - to being very knowledgeable on the flooring, the accurate measuring (no waste!), and the installation, we are very happy with the results. From beginning to end, the experience was pleasantly effortless. All you have to do is pick out your flooring. After the space is measured, the NICEST most RESPECTFUL installation team did our upstairs in just under 6 hours. And it's PERFECT!!!!!!!! No fuss, no mess. Again.....hubby picked an excellent company to do our upstairs.

Danielle was very personable and looked to be fairly experienced when she came over to my town home to measure. We did come up a bit short of carpeting in the installation (about 1 yard for a window seat - easy to do considering the complexity of my floor plan) but she FedEx-ed the extra and finished at no extra charge. The installers were determined and efficient. I've had the carpeting for several months now with no issues at all.

Excellent experience all the way around! Donna and Danielle gave me personal service above and beyond my expectations. I now have beautiful carpet throughout my townhome thanks to these two ladies and their expertise and delightful way of doing business. Their carpet installers, Bonnie and Dean, were also top notch--exceptional work and very friendly. The entire process was a pleasure. I highly recommend this mother/daughter team. Searched all over town--your prices were by far the best I found. Product selection was great and your help and service fantastic. Your installers went above and beyond--they decided to finish in a single day and worked until nearly 10:00 p.m. to finish. I was very happy with their work and their desire to ensure I didn't spend any more time than necessary with a torn-up kitchen. I'm coming to Carpet World when next I have flooring needs.

We were looking to carpet our upstairs with something durable and stain-resistant to withstand years of kids and pets. We have had Carpet World install new carpet in our complete house, our son's house and our daughters house. We also had them do the tile work as part of remodelling two of our two bathrooms. Donna has always given us a great deal without all of the price negotiations that we experienced with other carpet/tile stores. She is easy to work with and goes out of her way to help you pick the colors and styles you want. Donna has good, professional installers that also do a great job. If there is a problem, Donna reacts quickly and resolves the problem. We highly recommend Carpet World.

We wanted new carpet in three rooms and on two staircases--an area of about 1000 square feet. Danielle helped us pick the material and color of the carpet, and she was very good at explaining the differences between the various options. The price was very reasonable, and the installation was well executed. We haven't found any imperfections in the work or damage to house as a result of the installation. On the whole, we're very satisfied!

I recently purchased some laminate flooring from Donna. It took a while to pick out what we wanted and Donna was very patient and gave my wife and I great advice on color. I installed the floor myself and it turned out great and the color was perfect. You can go elsewhere but you will not get the service you will receive here. I recommend Carpet World to everyone.
