Both my boys love CFMAF. Master C and Heather makes classes fun but also teach respect, personal responsibility, safety and proper technique. You don't feel like one of the many - they always have time to answer questions and personally work with you. The atmosphere is family friendly and great for an entire family to participate.

When I first came to CFMAF, I wasn't the most liked person. I had no confidence in myself as a person. After 4 years and great relationships with not only what is now my extended family there, but also others, I can proudly say I'm a better person because of them. They invest themselves into you and will proudly claim you as an important part of both only their students, but also a family member and will treat you as such.

I found CFMAF by chance to do a bootcamp for myself and work on my fitness a couple days a week. It took only a couple group fit classes before my kids and I caught a martial arts lesson! We were immediately impressed with the discipline and fun we saw, and ready to sign up! I had no idea how much we would love it. Not only are we learning, and having fun, but we are doing it together as a family! Such a wonderful experience! The family atmosphere is amazing and the instruction is fun and challenging, we are learning new things together and that is the best part! Thank you Master C, Mrs. Heather, and all of the students and trainers like Chris who make this an all exclusive family, fitness, and martial arts home!

CFMAF is simply the best! The trainers keep you motivated and they are personally invested in your success! They are great cheerleaders as the gym is small enough that you are always working out with close friends! I do personal training, fitness classes, and Hapkido classes at CFMAF. All of them are amazing! I feel encouraged, believed in, challenged, and loved!

My son has been taking lessons here for a year. This is one sport he really enjoys. He has some sensory issues. His hand eye coordination is not great. Here he gets to be a leader. That is very important to him.

We absolutely love CFMAF!!! Our child has been attending karate at CFMAF for what seems forever. He started at 3 years old and is now 6! He has learned so much and gained so much from being a part of this program. The staff are wonderful and so attentive and knowledgeable! You truly feel like family when you are part of CFMAF!

I would recommend anyone looking for a martial arts school to go to CFMAF ran by Master C (Isaac Costley). This school stands above the rest with the real world situations you learn to protect yourself from. You learn what to do if someone grabs you, how to disarm an apponent, kicks, punches, ground work. With such a diverse range of students who atttend you are able to work with multiple people. Being a women I found it so helpful to be able to practice these techniques on many different heights, weights, skill level, male and female alike. Then with the other classes offered such as basic, blackbelt, little warriors, adult streetwise, fitness and many more, you are able to find the class that suits you and your family best. You just learn so many skills and all in a safe caring environment. Master C is a figure in my life I will always respect and admire. His compassion goes beyond that of instructor. He truly cares about each and everyone of his students and you can tell.

CFMAF is an outstanding school. For anyone new to martial arts, personal fitness, getting back into fitness or for families looking for somewhere that they can come together to grow and learn with each other-- this is the place. From the great owners, instructors , fellow families and members that make up the center there really is an overall sense of a "family environment" that is witnessed. As the school says, "You don't get what you wish for , you get what you work for." With that said , the school has earned every ounce of respect and praise that it has received.

I have trained with many martial arts instructors, but Isaac Costley is by far the best instructor that I ever trained under. Before I studied under him I did not know anything about hapkido. While training training with him, I learned many styles, such as hapkido, muay Thai, kali, Brazilian Jiujitsu, and tae kwon do. The most important thing that Master Costley taught me was realistic street techniques that most martial art styles does not teach. Training in hybrid hapkido gave me confidence and ability to handle mysetf on the street. I would recommend CFMA to anyone who wants to learn realistic street techniques that would save their lives or their love ones' lives on the street.

The address listed is incorrect. CFMAF is located at 2361 N. Academy. The people, the students, the staff, the facility are all amazing. The personal trainers are...personable. The staff has a true caring for the students. Come in and experience CFMAF first hand. You will be pleasantly pleased :)

Not impressed with their finance department for their staff never informs you of hidden (small print) terms to their "so-called" free trial and discounted one time down payment deal, because I put $1 down to hold my daughters place and get the $50 discounted down payment price past the day of the trial and when I couldn't fulfill the agreement to the down payment amount on the date that we had agreed I called them and was told over the phone that without the rest of the $50, my daughter couldn't attend any classes. When I told them that I understood, she replied with , "would you like to cancel it all together then so we don't have to worry about the payment?" and when I replied yes, she never confirmed the fees that I would be incurring if I was to do so. The only reason I ever even signed anything at all was because the instructor told me that unless I signed the bottom, he couldn't guarantee her spot being held or the $50 down payment amount and I all I was planning on doing was going to the gas station to pull it out of the ATM. When that didn't happen because of issues with my bank I called back and spoke with someone who said it was fine to wait for next payday. Long story short I was pressured into signing by a nice deal that was only available for a limited amount of time and because I failed to pay attention to the fine print and assumed that all was good when I spoke on the phone to the staff and wasn't informed of any cancellation fees, I later was charged $3,400.00 in cancellation fees for martial arts classes my daughter never was able to attend. If I could I would not have even given them even 1 star.
