This may or may not be an objective review, but we DID use the hospital's ER and it left a bad taste in our mouth. My wife went in for Mastitis. We called a nurse's hotline for advice before we went then arrived at 5 pm on a weekday where traffic was minimal. They were seeing patients at a constant rate, but nothing overwhelming for this ER at all. My wife got in at a reasonable time to be seen, then two hours quickly passed by without progress. Two RN's saw her and diagnosed or confirmed diagnosis of Mastitis. Then the inexperienced doctor came in and all hell broke loose. By all accounts, I couldn't see the medical degree anywhere. She looked as though this was her first patient and she wasn't comfortable in the diagnosis or the antibiotics that were supposed to be prescribed. She wanted to run other tests and do other things before she allowed her to be discharged. So the 3 stars I am giving the hospital is for all things non-doctor. Since we went ultimately for an antibiotic prescription, we needed someone to prescribe it. In this case, the incompetent doctor. Since she was the only thing holding us up, she ruined the entire experience for us. Too bad for the hospital, it had potential. Get rid of this young idiot of a doctor and you may have something next time we visit...hopefully in the far distant future when she moves on or learns a thing or two about simple symptoms and diagnostics.
